finally finished this series, i wanted to do something special because there are now 50+ followers for this blog!🎉i thought it'd be nice to reintroduce myself for the occasion with a sona reveal and some fav characters. i'm also working on a carrd and will, hopefully, open commissions!! but either way, thanks so much, i appreciate the appreciation of my work! i hope to continue to make even more stuff!

michael is here because he's quiet and likes to wear masks, but also because he can be pretty silly, especially in a lot of fanon things or real-world meetups like red carpet events or press tours. it makes me chuckle when the cast are being interviewed and michael gets to wander around in the back, completely in-character. the fact that he's also a big crush that lives in my brain rent-free doesn't help me not notice any in-common traits either (//–_–//) /lh
i added levi partially because i wanted to be like him so bad when i was younger, and i can still carry around cups like how he does. but i also feel like i can relate to how much he cares about his squad and the other people he's closer with, like the kiddos the 104th and the veterans. i also think poop jokes are funny hehe
sal is here because, to me, i read him as a bit shy and accidentally intimidating, but also willing to interact with others. he also feels pretty artsy and cares a lot about his friends and has a style (especially hairstyle) that i like! and while i can't really play guitar, i like games like guitar hero and rock band quite a bit
finally, i added zacharie for more aesthetic reasons. i used to doodle him a lot, and sometimes had him as my pfp online, so that tied me to him in a way. i'm not sure if i'm at the same level of chill he is, but i can go with the flow sometimes! that, and i carry way too many things in my bags.
seeing them grouped together has me realize they've all got a cool factor to them... that was not intentional! and it also feels more aspirational (^-^;)
there's definitely a couple of masks (plus sal's prosthetic), which makes sense. i like collecting and sometimes making them, THEY'RE SO COOL! they make expressing yourself easier (at least for me they do) and they have so many interesting designs and design philosophies, depending on the culture. just, whoa, you know?

what's michael been up to since halloween? maybe some fun fall-themed stuff, or something creative... maybe he's drawing?
i had a vague idea of wanting to draw him again and then i was inspired by @michaelmyersleftfoot 's post that came with a lil tutorial on how to draw him!
there's also a bunch of easter eggs if you want to take a closer look! i'll put the list (and a glasses version!) under the cut.
the pumpkin pail has the h1 jack-o-lantern's face!
the knife under the stool is based on the one he uses in 1978, too. (the other is just generic.)
his boots are his h1 vietnam jungle boots.
he's wearing the same glasses as the one for his sheet ghost costume!
the mirror has similar flourishes to the ones on judith's tombstone (and the pumpkin is just a pumpkin with a lil smiley face ehe)
the mask on the easel is the mask he wore in 1963.
the drawing behind the sketch of his butt (lol) is based on a police sketch that shows up in h20!
there's a polaroid of bubba in mmlf's style! also a sketch of jason in their style, too.
he has a flier reading "wanted: maniac" from spongebob.
there are small sketches of harley quinn and scarecrow from the batman animated series!
his signature is based on a promotional poster for h4, where he writes jamie a letter (i couldn't bear misspelling his name like he does though lol)
and finally, the artwork on the calendar comes from the opening shot of haddonfield in 1978 halloween, right after michael escapes :D
and of course, this composition is based on normal rockwell's triple self-portrait (1960).
