film majors will invite you over to “watch a movie and chill” and you’ll assume he means watch the first five minutes of something on netflix before getting distracted and banging but no. he has a french new wave film set up for the two of you to actually watch and you don’t understand french but he refuses to put on subtitles because he feels it undermines the artistic integrity of the work. when the movie is over he’ll undress you but not to have sex, just to “admire” your body. also he inexplicably smells like cigarettes even though he doesn’t smoke

The biggest paradox is that Chris was actually the only person in the group that always cared about Alicia. Not even her mother but Chris. But… he was just beaten up since day one - it started with Alicia kicking him in the face when he tried to help her (without apologizing), army guys when he protected Alicia, his mother (aka the only person he felt close to) died, he was the one who found that suffering guy in the plane and had to mercy kill him, then he was the biggest victim of the boat guys, then he froze and didn’t help Madison, it looked bad and he was ‘threating’ Alicia bc he was just pretty desperate, he knew it didn’t happen the way Alicia saw it and he didn’t want to lose this new family, he wanted to belong (source). And in the night he probs went to apologize just to be yelled away. The sad thing is, he had the mindset and skills to survive, but even his walker killing skills were just pushed in the back by Travis, who wanted son peacemaker not a fighter. As much as i don’t agree with Chris killing the farmer, i understand his logic in that situation, in the world like that and no wonder he left with those fuckboys when he felt like he can’t count on Travis…when he (the school teacher) didn’t defent him from the bullies when he was child - what could he do for him now?! The thing that bothers me the most is that Travis obv loved Chris, but he never tried to understand his perspective. He never accepted Chris the way he was and didn’t took him seriously - and it was shown already in the S1 where Chris was just good weird kid. Daniel did more parenting for Chris in that short time he was with him than Travis ever did. Daniel worked around the way Chris was, without trying to change him into another person and never put him down. The two main character death this season were 2 demonized, mentally ill ppl. Ugh…
