A very important lesson that I’m having to learn in my early experience as a Broadway investor is that all shows aren’t meant to stay open forever. It is with a heavy heart that I stand with all of those who’ve helped us tell the story to regretfully announce that @OnceIslandBway will play its final performance on January 6th. This is a show and a story that has been apart of my life for the past 4 years — one that I fell in love with the very moment I read it and heard the score, as it completely took my breath away. Over the past 28 years, both on Broadway stages and in many high school and regional productions, it has proved that love could withstand the storm, and cross the earth, even in the face of death.
