let's talk about how the writers didn't care about female friendships at all in s5, matter of fact they didn't really care about the female characters at all, they completely ignored El's independence arc and ruined the Elmax friendship when she's the one who helped El the most and introduced girlhood to her and they decided to randomly give El's arc to Nancy who was already really independent during the relationship with Jonathan

And I didn't forget about the fact that they made their male characters call the female characters bitches.. and even a little girl was called that and by a male adult..

The "Sam held Frodo's hand but didn't kiss it" specification becomes way more funnier when you remember it's Frodo writing the book. It's Frodo Baggins wasting his paper and time and ink to mention that Sam didn't kiss his hand for some reason.
