No, Jim. No kidding. I’m gunna murder them. I’m going to be incarcerated for mass murder, but I’m going to end these fucks.
I have a perfect spot to hide the bodies. Also, I’ll gladly bail you out while you flee the country.
I’m already going to hell, what’s a few more mortal sins on my hands.
They do not know what they have brought forth…. This is gonna be messy.
You wanna know what would be interesting actually? Making a human chain incircling Mr. Williams and his grieving family, we’ll surround the ENTIRE graveyard if we have to and block out those signs, so they know he was a very dearly loved and a forever missed man and send a message to those Westboro BASTARDS who dare say they are riteous men that no one will stand for them any longer. We will build bigger signs so that his family won’t have to lay eyes on words of hate but instead words of love and meaning, pictures on every single picket of ours of Mr. Williams and his career, of him smiling with only hearts and flowers on each sign. Make them bigger and higher so that we drown out the voices of those who dare turn such a sad event into a monetary opporunity.
Make it so that not a single sign of the Westboro church can ever be seen by his family so they can have a peaceful last goodbye to such a wonderful human being. One who cared so much about others and taught us so much about how we needed to live life and enjoy it while we could. We’ll have a banner that will have everyone’s favorite quotes written on every corner and every edge. We will show exactly just how much we loved and respected such a man how much we appreciated him, and just how much the world will miss him. Make it so that that church doesn’t have a voice to share or a soapbox to stand on.
We will have a chain of people at the backs of those with the picket signs who will hold hands and allow NOT A SINGLE BIT OF THEIR CHURCH PROPAGANDA TO PASS! They can do nothing against us. We will be the stronger and louder voice. We will scream and shout above their hate so that Mr. Williams may be put to a well deserved peaceful rest.
This actually happened at the funeral of Matthew Shepard, a gay man who was killed in 1998 in Laramie. Westboro Baptist Church picketed his funeral, but his friends dressed up in white robes and massive angel wings to block them out. When Fred Phelps attempted to talk about Matthew’s sins and his deserved death, they began to sing Hallelujah above Phelps and drowned him out so they could allow people to mourn Matthew in peace. I think that we should do the same thing. Sing words of love and loss over Westboro’s hatred, rather than scream back. Show love on a day where it is needed most.
After reading comments like these I always feel honest, heart-breaking, faith-fuelling love for tumbler people.
“I am a feminist because” I don’t think this video could be much more relevant.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what feminism is all about.
140000000000000000000000000000 chickens will fit in the sun
The number is near infinite because they are roasted to dust before you can get 14000000000000000000000000000 chickens into the sun? Is there a formula to determine how fast chickens burn?
I have always been missing a hearty ass-grab while cycling...

Hobbitalians
Here we go again, after leaving good old England I am now in Bella Italia - for good or for worse. However, observing my Italians around here I found an incredibly good cure for my homesickness: collecting proof that Italians are related to Hobbits. Are they? Are they not? I say, the evidence is overwhelming:
They are rather short and have mostly brown skin and hair.
They often go barefooted.
The live beyond the Misty Mountains (Alps).
They are able to talk exhaustingly detailed about family relations.
They are quite conservative and mostly interested in concerns of their own village rather than the wider world.
They can demolish incredible amounts of food in incredibly short time.
They love cheese.
They have a tendency to have a rather roundly shape after passing their middle ages.
They like to dress in bright colours.
They will always prefer Italian food (aka food from home) over any other.
And I'm still observing.
“I went to the worst of bars hoping to get killed but all I could do was to get drunk again.” Charles Bukowski wasn't the only notable scribe to seek solace atop a bar stool. Whether it was finding a cure for writer’s block, succour at the bottom of a bottle or hearty laughs around a fireplace, a trip to the tap room has habitually been a surefire way to coax creativity from some of the greatest minds ever to scribble a sentence. In fact, we'd argue that only ink has played a larger part in the crafting of classic literature than social boozing has, possibly going some way to explain why our favourite works of fiction are strewn with genuine drinking spots, many of which are still open today. Raise a fictional glass with us as we toast ten of the best to visit…
I definitely miss "Auerbachs Keller" in Leipzig, Germany, from Faust, but I would love to have a drink in "davy Byrne's"!
I'm not saying that UKIP voters are less intelligent than others. I'm just pointing out that their own party deems it necessary to tell them where to find it on the ballot paper...

Grand staircase in the Administration area of the Kirkbride building at Hudson River State Hospital during nautical twilight, with nearly-full-moon light shining in through the window. With civil twilight over before I could get this shot perfectly composed, I decided to guess on a 15 minute exposure for the final shot of the day, with the blue-hour light mixing with the moonlight - and this is what came out. This 1867 Frederick Clarke Withers building is mostly in horrible shape, but this particular section has held up rather well in the past 147 years.
So, you waited there for 15 minutes in the darkness? In an old asylum? Ladies and gentlemen, I have found my new hero...

Haunted
First of all, I do not believe in ghosts. Seriously, there is no scientific evidence for ghosts, there is no good reason for them to exist an I do not want them to exist. I just had to say that before telling the ghost story that hasn't let me sleep for the last two nights, the two nights that have passed since my visit to Sheffield.
Sheffield is a pretty, modern city in South Yorkshire that I had decided to visit on a whim as long as I still had the opportunity, simply because it had been mentioned in one of my English books and was easy to travel to by train. Consequently, I had no clue about the main attractions of the city when I arrived and only by chance found the Cathedral and the Winter Gardensy idly squandering away the morning. It was then that I discovered a little sign for the "National Emergency Services Museum" on one of them public maps which aroused my interest. I found it quickly and happily paid to see some old fire trucks, already hearing the roaring laughter of school boys in the building. As they actually had a stunning collection of police cars and fire trucks, it could have been a rather jolly afternoon, had it not been for the weird - and more and more creepier - feeling that I got in this building. The house used to be, I should add, a combined police and fire station and was only opened in 1900, but by 1930 exclusively used by police which explains why there are prison cells on the ground floor. The latter now accomodate an exhibition on police history that would have been quite absorbing if only I had not been as scared as I was. As you may see on the second photo, the cells are connected by a stretched corridor, dimmly lighted, but objectively not scary at all. Problem is, I grew so unreasonaly terrified, that I did not dare to pass the police man on the left and look into the last cell until there were at least two other people with me (and even then I disappeared after two seconds, heading to the exit).
The feeling continued when I moved upstairs, and even though it was not as bad as in the cells anymore, I was still uncomfortable and kept a safe distance to the dummys. It was not the first museum I had been to that used dummies to illustrate history and I usually like that, but these ones were simply not trustworthy. Can a dummy be trustworthy? Well, at the very least it can look like a god damn dummy and not like a tortured soul burning in hell fire. Just a normal dummy with the facial expression of a model - but seeing them out of the corner of my eye gave me the creeps, making the shadows suddenly seem darker...
Descending the stairs in my way back, it got worse again and I rushed out as if someone was pursuing me - and who knows, maybe that was actually the case. Because ever since then, I have had the same feeling, every night, I feel something watching me in the darkness, until I turn around and can't see anything. So, I did my research. I am not the only one (which tells me I'm not going nuts at least), as apparently there have been other sightings before. Five years ago, they found a couple of untouched rooms and cells and tried to make them available for the museum. Alas, they couldn't proceed due to "mishaps" such as electrics blowing up, things inexplainably moving at night, marks on the workers' bodies and strange noises and smells. Something is definitely down there and I pray that it did not follow me and can be at peace - and if only after leaving the country.

When Caroline Walter of Freiburg, Germany died at the age of 16, her sister, ,Selma, had a sculptor cast a life size sculpture for the gravestone - Every morning since Caroline’s funeral, a fresh flower was found tucked in the crook of the arm, and still is to this day - Nobody knows who leaves it - Every single morning! - Caroline died in 1867 - For 146 years, someone has been leaving flowers…
