#cailee spaeny#civil war#I appreciate what they were going for but the worldbuilding in this flick drove me bananas#thought up by three stoned teens who'd stuffed themselves into one trench coat for some reason#the same reason behind their creative efforts#'wouldn't it be cooooool' but would it make a lick of sense or have any internal consistency Paul would it do that?#is there an in-story reason for all that's happening that goes a little deeper than *gestures grandly yet vaguely and intones* 'YOU KNOW'?#will it do anything but thrill not just the people in the audience who've never been there#but the people who never even bothered to ask themselves truly what they'd do if they were there?#people for whom a burned-out JC Penney is the worst kind of cognitive dissonance or a heck yeah fist-pump fantasy?#anyway...#Cailee my love I'd go to war for YOU
