I don't know if I wanna get used to it, man. I never expected Dee and I to end up here. I'm not sure how things changed so much that ending the relationship is somehow the better choice. Yeah, well, you are like having another kid around. Not much, just finished a bunch of filming so waiting for new things to start. What's been up with you?

It isn't an easy process, but it's a necessary one. I'm sure you haven't forgotten that I went through it with Vicki too and it took some time, but I came out on the other side better for it. Don't lose yourself in the sadness because you might have a hard time clawing your way back out. Oh, please, as if I'm not the most mature person you know! At least I can make you laugh and that's what it sounds like you need right now. I don't have much on my plate at the moment – being dad has been at the forefront but I'm sure the right project will come along for both of us. It sounds like you and I need to get together for a stiff drink.

after months of going from coast to coast for beef press, i've finally made it back home to brooklyn and am settled in with my boys. thankfully, production for my next few projects is based here in the city too, which will be a nice change of pace. what about you? what're you working on these days and where has it dragged, i mean, brought you to lately? @goldenerastarters

Press can be so exhausting. Glad to hear you made it home and it sounds like you're getting a chance to kick back. It's the perfect time of year for a little R&R too. Best of luck with your upcoming projects! As a fan of yours, I'd say it'd be hard for you to do a bad job at anything. As for me, it's all up in the air always. We'll see what the future brings but for right now, no notable projects on the horizon. If I can pose a follow up question though: What would be your dream project to work on, that you would drop everything else for?

there are times i think about how when i was younger i used to do extremely petty shit, like make an entire album only because someone said i 'couldn't make a hit.' then i went on to win a grammy for a song on said album. now that i'm older and a father, it's hard for me to feel any type of visceral anger towards... anything really. have you ever done something out of pure spite? like, just to prove someone wrong. let's trauma petty bond. // @goldenerastarters

I think we've all done things when we were younger and more immature that we regret. Being a parent will change you, usually for the better. It's basically forcing you to get your shit together if you don't already have it together and saying, "Hey, you've got a little human to take care of now and you want them to grow up to be a good person, right?" No pressure or anything! I can't say I've done something out of pure spite, but I've definitely been on the petty train before. Happens to the best of us. It's easy to get lost in the feelings of a situation and not think logically. You probably understand as a parent that when you're in the public eye, you also want to be a good role model for your kids. Because, you know, once they get access to all those interviews you did on YouTube, it's game over.

Being alone for months on end while filming was always okay because I had a wife and kids to go home to. Going from one empty house to another between cities is hard to get used to. Hope this separation gets easier to navigate. @goldenerastarters

I know the feeling all too well, my friend. It's a hard adjustment, but you'll get used to it eventually. On the plus side, you have me to keep you company when it feels like too much. Which, frankly, is probably also too much in a different way. Other than the obvious, what's been up lately?
