Two sketches of the same pose. Your best friend may be a few years older than you, and has had jobs while you haven't, but he keeps crashing in your apartment because he is aware your mother pays for it. He just wants to roll all day. You hate it. You sit nearby and watch his eyes flutter open and closed for a few hours. After 3 or 4, he usually rights himself and asks if you want to do something. Your best friend always knows the sort of things you might enjoy, that's why he's allowed to use on your couch. You don't even smile, but say "sure." It's easier to breathe now that your heart, having expanded into the size of an overinflated balloon while watching your friend doze, has finally begun to deflate again.
