What’s up, tumblr peeps? It’s been a hot minute, hasn’t it. Welp, I’m back on my BS and brought more art with me, sooooo… here you go.

Something more colorful and whimsical than my usual stuff.

I wanted to do a painting to loosen up, so that’s just what I did. Thanks to Jill111 on pixabay for the beautiful original reference photo! 💛

My goal this year is to reclaim my personal time and space. I miss doing creative things just for myself.

Fun Facts: This piece was created by using many of the cityscape photos I took while I was in Japan. The girl in the front is actually my cousin Yui when we went to Tokyo Skytree, the second tallest building in the world. The color palette was made using a photograph of my boyfriend Shawn walking through Yokohama China Town. 😎

I tried a simplified approach as recommended by a friend.

I finished a WIP that was on hold forever. I ended up drawing Princess Zelda (?) in a tank top, so uh... we’ll say this is a modern AU and she happened to find and follow a stray fairy down a castle corridor or something.

And yes, these are based on references. I’m not at the level where I can come up with these kids of poses on my own (YET).

This is one of my characters from an old story. Her name is Elsa Alexander 😊 No relation to Frozen, k.
