I’ve heard of weird happenings, never experienced one myself though.
Woman in my hometown lives on street with a bunch of other low income natives. She tells people she needs to have her house “Purified” and that she needs help. People generally dismiss her as crazy, no big deal. One night people see her house on fire and she’s jumping around her front lawn laughing hysterically as her house burns down. People that saw it swear she had legs like a deer, or goat and was bounding around her lawn in 10 foot leaps.
Women from the local bar in my hometown would sometimes go missing. My grandmother had a dream about a man in a long coat and a wide brim hat would dance with girls then he would dance three circles around them and they would disappear soon after that. She told my Aunt not to let anyone dance circles around her. Later my aunt was at the bar and dancing when a man started to dance around her, she pushed him away and then sat down with my mom. Some other woman was dancing with him and he danced around her and she went missing.
My cousin was driving to her friend’s house 20 minutes or so out of town near a lake. She was listening to the radio and talking to her passenger. She was smoking and he asked for a cigarette and she said sure. Asks her to turn up the radio because he loves the song that is on, they rock out for a while before she gets to her friend’s house. Her friend asks who was in the car with her when she gets out. She remembers that she had left town alone. The cigarette is still on the seat lit.
My hometown was a cool place.
