The Central Library in Brooklyn hosted an Owl Discovery hour with the Volunteers for Wildlife. The kids and their parents got to learn about these silent night predators. They’re very cute, if you don’t count the razor-sharp beaks or talons.

The new songs sounded catchy, the old songs were excellent as usual, and Alex’s energy was off-the-charts-high (his shirt didn’t survive the night).
