Pizza Party [Closed]
more
âBusy?â For a moment, Freddieâs face rumpled in thought, some dim activity beginning to stir in his doggy brain. A second of hard thought later, and he remembered - âAwh, no, not busy! I, like, went through the woods. Took the, uh, scenic route, right?â Pleased with this, he gave a slow nod and an equally slow grin, dropping the pizzas on the table - aw, shit, was that bad for pizzas? Man. He was always messinâ up like that. It just didnât seem important until it actually happened. The pizza was⌠probably fine.
The second question appeared to throw him as much as the first, although the confusion seemed to roll off his back like water off a duck this time - having had to engage in mild thought once, he was now more awake and prepared for a second burst of mental energy. âMan, really? Like, I never even thought about mail ânâ stuff here. Does Amazon deliver out this far?â Heavily, and with all the grace of a dog in human clothing, Freddie plopped himself down and propped his chin in his hands, giving Mira a broad smile. âWhat are they like?â
The redhead sat patiently as she waited for Freddieâs reasoning on being late. It had to be at least somewhat interesting. And she wasnât too off, he took the âscenic routeâ which she had learned recently to be the supers part of the woods. Not that she had visited that particular chunk of the island beyond that one bonfire night but now she was just derailing off thought. Freddie had already started responding to her second question and she was still stuck on the woods. Ahhh whoops.
âWell Iâve only had a chance to bump into them once or twice in the morning as the deliver the morning mail but theyâve got this cute blonde curly hair and a big smile. Oh and they understood me when I spoke some Spanish to my tĂa. Itâs not very often you get to hear anything beyond Japanese or English here,â Mira said with a little sigh. She then turned to look down at the cardboard boxes resting on the wooden table, âI guess we should eat before these get cold.â
