[OOC BELOW!!!!] Hello all!! Blog mod speaking. Welcome to my silly Among Us OC blog!! This will be about my OCs / headcanons for the Among Us universe, and probably won't delve too deep into canon stuff like the show. (Though you're welcome to mention the events of the show in asks!!)

The general timeline of this is set BEFORE the influx of impostors caused the HQ to be evacuated. But, this doesn't mean you can't do asks based around different timelines!! Idm, just please clarify!

GENERAL BLOG INFO

The main 2 OCs the lore will be focusing on are Cherri and Fern. I'll still post about the other characters / you're welcome to ask about the others, but I will be mainly focusing on asks / lore for those 2.

ALL of the characters I will roleplay as are my OCs.

Story's POV is that of a new intern of MIRA and how they are adjusting to their job. They're unnamed and are an empty vessel for y'all to act with! (Though other rp blogs are 100% welcome to rp as their designated character instead!)

I am uncomfortable with NSFW stuff, so please refrain from asking about stuff like that. (OC x OC & Selfshipping are welcome, but keep it SFW folks!)

HEADCANONS FOR THE AMONG US UNIVERSE!

I am a 100% firm believer that among us crewmates have hair/fur and you CANNOT tell me otherwise. /hj/nsrs (in the official show there's a bit where one character ruffles another character's hair)

Impostors have 3 subspecies; shapeshifters (has ability to shapeshift), phantoms (has the ability to go invisible), and vipers (has strong acidic venom that dissolves victims). All of these subspecies come from genetic mutations which worked to improve their hunting, thus leading to their more prevalent roles in society.

Shapeshifters do not need a host to control like the other types of impostors, rather, they rely on their ability to mimic the appearances of other crewmates.

Each planet that crewmates inhabit have some form of protective barriers that make sure that impostors cannot get in or out of said planet via ships. This is why, when all tasks are completed, the impostors lose. (assuming that all tasks being completed means that the ship arrives at its designated location)

Despite these barriers, however, some impostors do occasionally manage to sneak in, whether that be via transported Ore+ (impostor eggs) or other impostors who have been already inhabiting the planet alongside crewmates.

CHARACTER NAMES, JOBS, & IN-GAME ROLES

Cherri - Manager of MIRA HQ, works above most of the crew (aside fellow manager Skye & MIRA CORP themselves), monitors all work done by anyone else in the crew (Shapeshifter)

Fern - Astronomer, specifically working to study anomalous aliens (impostors; how they work, how to stop them, etc.) (Detective)

Barry - Palaeontologist & Geologist, studying Ore+ (impostor eggs) & any alien fossils they find (Scientist)

BARRY Cherri - Boss/Subordinate (Friendly) | Barry likes Cherri's positivity and helpful nature. Clementine - Coworkers (Friends) | Barry enjoys Clementine's company, with Barry practically taking Clem under their wing. Coco - Coworkers (Neutral) | Barry and Coco don't interact very much, but Barry doesn't mind them. Fern - Coworkers (Best Friends) | Barry adores Fern, even if he is a grumpy nut-job. Coco - Boss/Subordinate (Neutral) | Coco keeps to themself too much for Cherri to really form any opinion. Fern - Boss/Subordinate (???) | Fern is very intriguing to Cherri. They want to learn more about his motivations. Lemon - Boss/Subordinate (Neutral) | Cherri doesn't take much interest in Lemon. Rokit (not my OC) - Boss/Subordinate (Negative) | ... Skye - Coworker (Semi-Negative) | Cherri finds Skye's general ignorance and hubris annoying.

CLEMENTINE Barry - Coworker (Friends) | Clementine adores Barry and appreciates their guidance. Cherri - Boss/Subordinate (Friendly) | Clementine looks up to Cherri as a role-model of sorts. Coco - Coworker (Friends) | Clementine and Coco often talk about plants together, and Coco lets them relax in the Greenhouse if they get overwhelmed. Fern - Coworker (Friends) | Clementine enjoys being around Fern and watching them work. Lemon - Coworker (Friendly) | Clementine enjoys Lemon's presence. Rokit (not my OC) - Coworker (Best Friend) | Rokit and Clementine are like 2 peas in a pod! They tell each other everything. Skye - Boss/Subordinate (Neutral) | Skye and Clementine don't interact much.

COCO Barry - Coworkers (Neutral) | Coco and Barry don't interact much. Cherri - Boss/Subordinate (Friendly) | Coco thinks Cherri's a kind soul, and enjoys their presence. Clementine - Coworkers (Friends) | Coco really enjoys Clementine's kind and friendly nature. Fern - Coworkers (Friendly) | Coco appreciates how careful Fern is, and will often listen to their rants if asked. Lemon - Coworkers (Neutral) | Coco and Lemon don't interact much. Cherri - Boss/Subordinate (???) | Fern knows something is wrong with Cherri, he just can't put his finger on it… and it's NOT just because of how charming they are!! Clementine - Coworkers (Neutral) | Fern finds Clementine's antics annoying, but can't bring himself to really hate them. Coco - Coworkers (Friends) | Coco listens to Fern, and doesn't mind their nervous rants. Lemon - Coworkers (Neutral) | Despite being best friends with Lemon's twin sibling, Fern and Lemon do not interact much. Rokit (not my OC) - Coworkers (Neutral) | Fern enjoys Rokit's presence but doesn't fully trust them... there's something up with them... Skye - Boss/Subordinate (Semi-Negative) | Skye can be annoying at times, but Fern and them don't interact much.
