To begin, Split is a gender nonconforming balloon animal who performs errotic exhibitionist shows! Their performances are usually inherently silly or goofy, with the main trope reused being them putting themself at expense to expose themself to the audience! They're very impulsive, making decisions or taking requests without a second thought, often leading to the Usual shenanigans as long as it makes a fan of theirs happy! They will do ANYTHING for you, the audience! They love you as much as you love them, every single one of you! They love to hear and see how much others enjoy what they do, and any fans wanting to get personal and/or engage in that manner with them makes them feel accomplished!

The biology of their species is very unique due to the nature of a Balloon Animal in base concept. The species has developed thickened, stretchy, elastic skin tough enough not to break when poked, encasing a layer of air inside of them. Under the layer of air is the Membrane that gives them their energy and body structures, made-up of an acid like liquid that breaks down food to make more of it to push into important functions like recovering injury, illness, and protecting the body. The weaker acid that gets pushed out of the eyes, nose, and mouth, are for defending against illness, with the acid doing little damage to much above a microscopic level, with each balloon having their own Filling taste. Split's membrane fluid tastes like strawberry banana yogurt tubes, not normal yogurt, specifically the taste of a particular one you had as a kid.

Under the talk of the general anatomy there's the specifics of the function of the head and by extension the nose, what we've all been waiting for. The head is neglecting membrane fluid being stored within it, instead it is only passed up to it from the throat when necessary, and the head is majorly hollow to assist with possibly eating things larger than itself. The nose is for inflating more air Into the head while that process occurs to make space for the meal, but it serves other purposes to that.

The mechanism that the nose functions on is a limited amount of space for the Knot, base of the nose, to expand under to pull in more air, with that size capping at around 2x less than the outer rim of the knot, known better as the nostril. Because of the durability of their skin the knot can be abused to force sneezing in a matter of different ways without the use of outer tools; pulling on the nose from the nostril, pushing Into the knot, flicking the nose, and blowing a thin stream of air into the knot to name a few examples.

In the balloon animal culture the nose is very provocative and it is widely accepted that the reaction of sneezing is endearing, and even encouraged, with "blessings" being replaced with compliments to it! That isn't to say blessings aren't appreciated, simply not from their own culture, as many balloon animals take blessings from other cultures as compliments in of itself.

- Split is extremely sensitive in the nose to Everything that can cause an irritant based reaction, making them a very well sought after mate in their culture

-Splits favorite means to induce isn't actually very complicated or showy, they settle down in a comfortable space with a candle that smells of spices, sniffing it while idly existing to keep themselves sneezing and sniffly the Entire time.

-Split LOVES being kissed on the nose! The slight vibration of the action always tickles their nose and makes them sneeze, they would let someone kiss their nose for hours without asking them to stop.

-Split has a partner in their culture, who loves their exhibition performances and takes care of them when they're off stage. I may draw her soon but she will be based off Neapolitan!

-Split has a nulge, meaning they cannot finish and only ever crave more stimulation when engaging in mature activities, the sneezing making that worse as it riles them up extremely often.

-Split loves taking requests or challenges, their favorite ones involving shoving anything into their knot for a reaction. They sometimes will let something go All the way into their nose and allow it to float around in their head so they're Constantly reacting to it and not letting it leave through their mouth.
