Hi people! This semester I’ve been struggling a lot with some stuff in my life. Sometimes I had dark days, days when I wanted to felt nothing, days i just wanted to disappear. Altought I knew there was so many people ready to help me, the darkest thoughts came to my mind just to made me feel worse than ever. Suicide and hurting myself was an option, but NOT the best one. Sometimes you just have to run away and think, think a lot about your life; you are NOT a number, you are NOT a pain in anyones life.
My problems started when I was expecting to became true the expectations of others above mines. When I was start thinking that maybe I was just a GPA, a number, AND I AM NOT, YOU ARE NOT, you are better than that. So, yes, I had to speak, TO SPEAK LOUD AND CLEARLY, to tell my parents that I wouldn’t be reaching their dreams, that i was not a number, that i have feelings to sometimes i put above my grades. It was hard, but there’s where my self-esteem started to became better.
This wasn’t a parents/university/relationship situation, this is a ME X ME situation. Its about loving myself, having dreams MY dreams, reaching my goals, put some goals in my life, and above all, ITS A LOVING MYSELF situation. Loving my mind, my body, loving my life, loving who I am. I am not a number, I am not an instagram fitness person, I am not what social media says, I am not what rumors says. I am who I want to be.
Loving yourself is the best choice you can make in your life. Theres always someone who is there for you, who can make you feel better, who is there for listening and giving you an advice; maybe is your family, maybe is your friends, your SO, maybe is me.
Open your hearts, learn of your mistakes and LOVE YOURSELF. You are an incredible person, you are loved, you are wonderful, you are AMAZING, you are beautiful, you are who you want to be.
