Like, I wish I could go up to a friend of mine and be like, “Hey I want to take you to a nice restaurant. Let’s get dressed up fancy and go.”

We’d go have a fancyass dinner, but there’d be no romantic involvement.

I wish platonic dates were a common thing.

a) Hela defeating the Valkyries isn’t comparable because she’s one of the most powerful asgardians in existence and Loki technically is a different species. Doesn’t make Loki not strong but it goes from Asgardian v Asgardian fight to Asgardian v Frost giant.

b)more importantly, LOKI ISN’T THAT GOOD AT COMBAT. He very much relies on illusions so he can avoid physical confrontation in the first place. It’s literally the Scar v Mufasa power dynamic. He obviously has general fight training and would be more than capable to fuck up a human but as everyone else has already pointed out, Valkyrie is a millennia old legendary warrior trained to fuck up a bitch. His reluctant Odinson P.E does not compare and does not compete.

tl;dr Loki could feasibly beat Valkyrie in a fight if he relies on his magic and tricks (and we saw that when he went into her mind) but in straight hand to hand, there’s absolutely no reason to believe he would win that fight.
