RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS

Love with Riddle was never truly easy, was it? Riddle.. doesn’t simply fall out of love impulsively. He tightens. He will start to become stricter, sharper, and more formal with you.

Your small mistakes start to irritate him. Not enough to explode, no never at you. Though, it was enough for him to begin correcting you with clipped phrasing.

“Your tie is fixed incorrectly. Fix it. It’s unbecoming.”

He will start comparing you to his expectations. Not out loud, but quietly, internally. He will stare at you in silence as you trip or stumble over air, and rather than being charmed as he used to be… he frowns deeply. You don’t meet his unspoken standards.

Riddle starts to feel himself slipping emotionally from you. As time went on, he starts to become convinced that love is making him inefficient. Love clouds judgment. It embarrasses him. It ruins his academics.

To riddle, thats not a small mistakes. It is incompatibility.

He wont yell at you.

Riddle will withdraw.

By the week of the break up, he will start speaking to you the way he speaks to a first year who forgot to iron their uniform.

When he finally breaks up with you, it will be somewhere private, but not intimate. He doesn’t wish to give you the impression there will ever be a “us” again. So the rose garden.

He stands straight, his hands were perfectly folded behind his back as he spoke with a calm voice that made you flinch.

Riddle doesn’t explain more than necessary, he doesn’t comfort, he doesn’t check if you’re okay. Hell, he wont even hold your hand and help you make sense of anything.

You could almost laugh at how Riddle this whole break up is. He was ever that affectionate while in the relationship. Why would that change now?

And if you cry?

His expression would tighten ever so slightly, maybe from guilt? Irrigation? Duty as a headwarden? Honestly, you couldn’t tell. But he doesn’t take it back.

With that, he leaves first. The fluttering of his cape in the wind as he refuses to spare you a glance. He refuses to allow himself a single second to second guess his decision.

After the break up riddle will become all rules, with no warmth. You’re basically a second ace now.

He calls you by your surname only, his tone becomes polite yet distinct. The same way he addresses random students.

He refuses to look your way unless it is necessary. Not out of longing, but because he doesn’t wish for students to take that as weakness.

If others even mention you, the relationship, or the break up around him, he will cut the conversation sharply.

He doesn’t linger on old memories. To him this break up was a decision made with logic.

AZUL ASHENGROTTO

A break up with Azul begins long before he even says the words.

He will start to become hyper professional with you, the conversations will shift from the quiet affection to transactional. Azul will slowly start to ask you, “did you finish your tasks?” Rather than “how are you?”

He will start to monitor your actions with analysis. It wasn’t really out of love, he was starting to collect data. Weighting the cost and outcome. The benefits of keeping you around or simply letting you go.

Your flaws and emotions will start to.. bother him. Things he once tolerated, even with a gentle smile as he reassured you, now felt like inefficiencies and unnecessary.

And what lead to the break up?

Something small really, one single mistake.

Maybe it was a lie? A broken promise? A missed favor? Nothing catastrophic. But to azul? It was instantly taken as betrayal of trust. And for azul, once trust fractures, Azul won’t repair it. He simply reassesses.

Azul will sit alone in his office, pen gently tapping against a piece of paper, for once it wasn’t a contract draft. It was a pros and cons list of your relationship.

For the first time, the cons outweighs the pros, and instantly once he reached that conclusion. The decision was made.

And azul is never one to second guess.

The break up place will not be anywhere sentimental. He will simply invite you to the Mostro Lounge after closing, the lights are low, the twins have left, and the room is completely silent.

Azul will sit on one end of the table, while you sit on the other. His hands are folding like it’s a negotiation, his expression perfectly neutral. A beautiful, perfect, fake smile graced his lips. Just like how he speaks and opens up with clients

“There’s a matter we need to discuss. After careful consideration. I’ve decided that our relationship is no longer… mutually beneficial.”

You blink. He says it like he is ending a partnership, not a romance. And the word “mutually”, you know from watching him work on so many contracts.. that means he believes YOU are no longer useful.

“Well, there is not much to add. We are poorly matched, maintaining this relationship would only learn to further disappointments.”

Azul shrugs slightly with a sigh, and stands, signaling that the “meeting” is over. And with the same composure he uses to finalize a contract he smiled at you, again. Fake. Perfect.

Then he turned away, not dramatically. But with someone with the certainty that they have already disposed of you.

Now that the break up was official. Azul startes to treat you like a customer. If you enter in Mostro Lounge, he greets you with a polite smile lacking any real feelings at all.

He will never bring up the relationship again, to him it has always been filed away. Why open old memories that being no value? Neither will the leech twins. You’re no fun anymore.

But he will avoid any unnecessary contact with you, but he wont be rude to you. Being rude is bad for business, of course.

What was the most chilling.. or.. heartbreaking to you was how quickly he normalizes life without you. Azul has always adapted fast. It was almost like you never dated at all.

The break up to azul as a strategic decision. Not because he hates you, just because he refuses to waste time on something with no gain back benefit.

KALIM AL-ASIM

With Kalim, I believe it would he a very subtle shift. A blink and you will miss it moment.

Kalim isn’t cruel, anything but, although.. he will slowly stop inviting you to everything. Parties, dinners, spontaneous adventures with his joyful laugh and smile. You will start hearing about events form second hand sources instead of kalim himself.

His smiles start to become… thinner? Still bright and full of life, but it is missing the warmth that was once only meet for you.

He becomes harder to reach. Not because he is avoiding you, just because he is keeping himself busy.

“Oh!! Sorry! Im helping Jamil!”

“There’s a family call! Talk to you later?”

“Sorry!! I promised my dorm we’d do something!”

All because he is slowly starting to feel unbalanced. Growing up having everything shift for him. Made to be perfect for him. Giving to him easily. He doesn’t understand relationships ARENT perfect ALL the time.

Your moods, the conflicts.. doubts. Things he once tried to understand are staring to exhaust him.

Another small disagreement or argument was the turning point. Another loud sign from you about how he was too childish, irresponsible or carefree. (Which was true. But kalim understanding criticism isnt the end of the world, ISN’T something he has learned yet. )

And he simply.. dims. For him, it’s like realizing that.. giving someone so much, isnt making them happy.

That’s when affections started to drain from him, and once kalim feels unappreciated or unwanted? He slowly closes his heart, with almost frightening decisiveness for someone so free spirited.

When kalim chooses to break up with you, he chooses a beautiful place. Quite, not a festive, not shared. Just himself and you. Because Jimal told him it was what’s best.

Sitting on the magic carpet overlooking NRC sunset.

He sits silently for once, silence for kalim isn enough to make your stomach twist. Then with the saddest and gentlest smile he has ever worn, he turned to look at you. Softly taking your hand into his.

No “maybe someday.” Just.. simple fact as he softly pulls you in for a hug as you blink. To you, your relationship seemed very healthy. But.. you of course accepted. You wont keep him in something he doesn’t wish to be in.

The magic carpet gently took you back home, leaving you at the Ramshakle door safely.

After the breakup, Kalim becomes TOO nice. The kind of nice that tells you he is keeping a distance on purpose.

He greets you with the same cheer he gives strangers.

“OH!! Hi!!! I hope you’re having a wonderful day!!”

His tone is light, but impersonal. The warmth that was once reserved for you and only you is now evenly spread across with everyone else.

And of course, Jamil becomes a silent barrier, watching carefully. Making sure you don’t get too close to him.

Kalim is just as bright as before. He lives his life fully, joyfully, beautifully. Just.. without you.

To kalim, a break up isn’t cruelly. It’s just.. closure. A clean and gentle goodbye.

“THANK YOU FOR THE TIME WE SHARED.”

IDIA SHROUD

A break up with idia isn’t exactly sudden. Not really, it is more of a very very slow erosion. A digital fade out.

His texts start to become very unresponsive, messages turn into emojis, then into read receipts, then finally into nothing. Silence.

He will start to avoid your nightly calls, game nights, and even stop sending you memes. He told you it is just because he is “busy grinding.” But that has never been a problem before, has it? What changed now?

Your presences is starting to bring him a lot of stress and anxiety rather than just comforting him like you used to. Not because you did anything wrong, no never that. But because intimacy feels like a pressure cooker to idia. Like being in a boss battle with no saves and extreme lag.

And now, every time you don’t laugh at his jokes, every time you seem distracted, every moment you don’t reassure him. Is now being over analyzed.

He starts to convince himself that he isn’t enough for you, and that leads him to swing to the opposite extreme.

It’s easier to detach than risk being abandoned later.

Then finally there was the trigger. Maybe it was something that wasn’t to extreme something that was trivial. Like you didn’t come to his dorm room to watch a new ep of his favorite anime that just came out.

Or maybe… you expected him to slowly learn how to open up. To be more social. More present. More… normal.

And that lead Idia to one conclusion. You didn’t want him, you wanted someone else. You wanted someone who could be everything he wasn’t.

By the time he breaks up with you, his affection meter is flatlined. Not from hatred, but from sheer emotional burn out he gave himself.

And there was no rising his affection levels anymore. Gg. Game over, you lost.

Idia doesn’t really break up with you somewhere sentimental. To much emotional effort he did NOT have right now, so he picks a locations where he feels safe.

And that is a coroner of Ignihyde dorm hallway, with escape routes everywhere.

Hey. Idia never claimed to not be a coward.

Idia can’t look at you directly. Or he wont look at you. Honestly, this all was so on brand for Idia you wanted to scream. He fidgets with his tablet like it’s a shield ready to block any emotion you threw at him.

“ I, uh.. I think we should.. ya’know. End this? The relationship. Us. Look, im not really built for whatever this is supposed to be. It’s stressing me out, and I can’t.. preform in it? So lim calling it. Like.. Effective immediately.”

And if you get upset?

Idia will cringe, hard. But he wont reach out, he wont touch you. He wont hug you and tell you that you will be fine. A laughable thought really, he ever did it durning your relationship, are you delusional enough to think he would start now?

Instead what he does, is he starts to inch away from you while you try to hold back your tears. Until he bolts away once he is close enough to the exit closest to his room. Because if he stayed another second, he’ll panic and contradict himself.

After the break up? Idia will go full on GHOST MODE. DNI.

He will block you on almost every single platform. He doesn’t mean it in a malicious way, but it’s more of a self defense mechanism.

If he is FORCED to talk to you in person, he will glitch out. Speaking to you as if you never dated before and like he is talking to a professor he fears.

He rewrote all of the narrative in his head. It was doomed anyways. They’ll be happier without me, they already are. I made the logical call. They were just stringing me along.

Idia became a firewall. And he will never reopen your connection. Not out of anger, not out of dislike or hate for you. Instead because it terrifies him so much.

MALLEUS DRACONIA

With malleus, there isnt exactly a “snap.” Rather.. there is a shift. Slow, ancient. Like a castle that was quietly freezing over with no one noticing.

The distance he is starting to grow starts to feel unnatural. He started to appear less and less often. He starts to speak less warmly. And now he begins to simply… observe you, rather than engaging with you.

Your human tendencies start to frustrate him. He doesn’t understand why your emotions are so irrational. Why you are so impatience, impulsive when you can be harmed so easily. Your inconsistencies. Things he used to find so charming and adored, now feel trivial to him.

He now realizes that how fundamentally different you both are from one another. Lifespan, culture, expectations. He has always known that the gab between you was there. It would have been silly to not see it, but lately it has been the only thing he can think of.

The trigger? You do something, nothing dramatic. Just.. human. Perhaps you laugh at something he takes seriously? Treat him too casually.

To most people, it would be nothing. Not even noticeable.

But to malleus? Who values devotion, ancient customs, and pure sincerity. All it did was conform a theory in his own mind.

“ You do not belong in my world.”

Once the break up came around, The air around him seemed colder. The dorms storm was much harsher, and the lights dimmed and flickered once malleus entered the room.

His smile, that once smiled so curiously and warmly at you, now never reached his eyes.

He chooses a secluded place. Not romantic, but somewhere quite just for the two of you.

He will stand tall, his expression wasn’t readable. He stares down at you, still studying you. Then he spoke.

His tone was so powerful, formal that it physically made you cringe at it. It was formal enough to sound like a royal decree he was giving to a group of subjects.

“ I believe our paths no longer align with one another, I real ease you form any obligation to me. And.. I ask you to release me as well.”

His words are spoken with ancient magic, soft and gentle. But final. There is no flicker of regret. No dramatic exit. Just a soft nod of the head. This was the end.

Then he turns his back, a gesture that he rarely rants anyone, because he already knows you will not follow him

After the break up, you start to notice that you no longer feel his aura watching you from afar anymore. He is no longer always watching to make sure you are safe. It’s.. oddly quiet.

Sliver and Lilia wont speak about the break up or you out loud anymore. Not out of loyalty, but simply because they don’t wish to open any wounds.

Sebek on the other hand, will take very opportunity he can to shoot you glares, or huff extra loudly as you pass by him in the halls with his nose in the air. Though he will never say anything to you out loud as to not upset Malleus.

Malleus chooses to not use any magical interference with your healing. He does not erase memories or warp your emotions. Only because Lilia told him that distance and time will do that work.

To malleus a break up is not an emotional event. It’s simply a decision to be made. Not out of bitterness. But to choose the correct path.

RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS

At first, riddle honestly can not process it. He is so used to order, logic, and rules that emotional chaos throws him into feelings he isn’t familiar with.

Riddles pride is massive, so once you tell him its over.. Riddle of course will respond to you formally. Maybe even a bit coldly, more so because he doesn’t know how to react. His tone was clipped.

“If thats your decision, fine then. I respect it. Until the next time, goodbye.”

Internally though? He was unraveling. The moment he pushing his dorm door open and slams it closed behind him, his breath trembled while his composure completely falls.

While it is completely spotless, it was organized to absolute perfection of course. But, he stays up late rereading your old messages, every conversation replaying like a rule he had failed to followed.

And for the first time in Riddles life, he was off schedule and went to bed around 1 in the morning.

Riddle always feared of being too much Too overbearing. Too strict. Too distant. And you leaving? That confirmed his worst fear. Riddle Rosehearts was impossible to love as he is.

But Riddle doesn’t really stay in denial for long. Of course he doesn’t. He’s too introspective to stay blaming everything other than himself.

He’ll throw himself into deep and complete self relegation like it’s one of his exams. Of course he will realize that love isnt something he cant exactly console with rules or perfection.

He wishes his mother showed him the rulebook for relationships.

Riddle will start to visit the places you both used to visit together. The rose garden, the library, etc. He is just trying to feel close to you again, even if you aren’t there. Maybe to try and think about what he should have done differently.

Once weeks had passed and riddle has had time to think, determination creeps through. He isnt the type to willow in self pity and sadness forever. He wants to win you back. Somehow..

But unlike before, he doesn’t shove you with rules or rehearsed words, he tries his best with desperate awkward sincerity.

Of course he wont just barge back into your life and shove himself right back where you both started. No. He will start off with small, but thoughtful gestures.

Maybe like writing an apology letter for any type of pain he may have caused you.

There is fresh roses on your desk, deep red of course. To remind you of him.

Leaving a tart on your desk made by trey, of course! But it’s the thought that counts.

Riddle doesn’t talk to you face to face, mainly because he doesn’t wish to pressure you. For once, he will give you complete control.

If you do ever choose to take riddle back, he will become the most devoted version of himself. He will TRY to be more open, gentle, patient. He will still scold you (he is still riddle, after all) but his tone cares more of warmth now, and not judgment.

“ You once day my heart is to stuck on rules. I suppose.. you may have been correct. Perhaps love isnt made to be prefect. Bear with me. I have much to learn.”

AZUL ASHENGROTTO

When you break things off with Azul, he will not show you a single crack. His response will be impeccably polished, absolutely rehearsed.

“Ah? I see. Well, i would never impose on your happiness, if that if your decision then I respect it. Now, Jade, Floyd. Please show… our customer the way out of my office. Hm?”

Azul will start to smile much more. To prove to his customers, the twins, and maybe even himself that nothing could say him. Even some silly break up.

Logic is quickly used as his armor. Well, and work. He will throw himself to the lounge, contracts. Everything at all. And of course he tells everything that relationships at their age rarely last.

Finally, it starts to hit him as things always do. Azul greatest weakness? Self doubt. It has always been, even since a young age. After the break up finally caught up, he’ll start replying every insecurity that has haunted him since childhood.

Honestly, he convinced himself that if he is just better, you will come back. That.. maybe you will see him… maybe..

Azul will start to overanalyze you to the point he almost grows sick of himself. Every conversation he over heard you have with ace and deuce, every time you frown, or when you smiled. But at the same time if jade or Floyd even mention you, he’ll only wave it off with a perfectly masked laugh and shrug.

“Oh. Them? Please, they are hardly worth worrying about now.”

Eventually, Azul need for control will start to seas seat itself again. He can’t stand being powerless, so what does he do? He starts to plot, of course!

You will start to find yourself running into him more often, in the hallway, during errands runs. Somehow he is always “passing by”.

Then once you both start to speak again, he will start to test the waters. He’ll casually break up “what went wrong” to you acting like he has already moved on from the whole break up. But he is really watching your reaction with sharp eyes.

Eventually, once all the pretending, planning and perfect posture and plans start to fall. It isn’t working. Nothing is working. Azul is too smart not to know when he is lying to himself.

He missed you.

One night he found you, there is no grand speech. No cold politeness. Simply honesty. Rare for Azul.

If you do ever take him back, he is still meticulous and calculating, but somehow gentler with you. He’ll still over think about you leaving again. But when insecurities creep up again, he reaches for your hand instead of a mask.

Maybe love doesn’t need a fine print. And for Azul Ashengrotto, that’s the bravest deal he’ll ever make.

“ You didn’t fall for my grades, or the lounge, or the reputation. You fell for me. And.. I guess somewhere along the way, I stopped believing that was enough.”

VIL SCHOENHEIT

As we all expected, Vil isn’t the type to ever let himself fall apart in public. He will take your break up with a beautiful grace, and an elegant smile. His tone was perfectly measured.

“If that is what you desire, I shall not stop you. We all have our own paths to follow.”

Simple, plain. Leaving you standing there. As he walked past you. His heels hit the floor perfectly, never faltering. To any on lookers it almost looked like he broke up with you leaving you standing there.

Though, once he finally hits lights out. And a whole day left with bickering with epel about his refusal of skin care. He sits at his vanity, looking at his own reflection as it it would tell him what he had done wrong.

What flaw did you see that he couldn’t?

So, Vil does what he can do best. Throw himself into work. More modeling gigs, stricter diets, longer rehearsal hours. Vil will quickly convince himself if he just perfects everything else. If he gets that validation from his fellow models or directors and photographers? That may help dull the ache.

Once the initial pride drive mask starts to fall off, Vil will start to reflect on the relationship.

Remembering the moments he was far to sharp with you, when his standards were to high it would have hurt instead of helped. His snippy comments.

Love isn’t one of his performances. How odd. It’s vulnerability, and truth. Loving flaws and all. He hates that he only learns this after losing you.

“I wanted to inspire you. Lift you higher. I was trying to shape you into perfections, something I understood.”

Vil won’t seek you out, he has too much dignity to beg, but even if no one else knows, he cant help but still be thinking of you.

At some point his feelings will start to out ways his logic, you’ll start to find lowers left where you normally walk by, the same shade of color you once told him looked beautiful in his hair.

He will ask others about you, casually of course. “How is the Perfect doing? Eating well?” Pretending it’s nothing, perfect acting. Everyone is fairly convinced that he is completely over you.

Vil reaches a point where pride bends to sincerity. He starts to prepare, to try and be perfect of course. He will find the right time, tight place and show up like he walked out of a dream. Not to dazzle you, but remind you of who he is.

If you give him another chance, he will start to listen to more reason. He learns to let imperfections exist between you both. You can take off the makeup, he can take off the mask, and love you. And himself.

“I suppose I did miss your honesty. Your odd laugher. Perhaps that makes me weak. But made me real.”

IDIA SHROUD

Alright, let’s be honest now. Idia? Does not take the break up well.

When you start to tell him it’s over, he says nothing, he stares at you blankly for what felt like hours (a few minutes of silence) then idia? Yeah, he completely shuts down.

His first instinct is avoidance, so he hardly speaks and simply asked you to leave his room. Facing emotions, is terrifying.

Idia easily goes deep into his own isolation. His dorm room stays locked, with a faint light flickering behind it, ortho is the only one allowed inside.

Hours upon hours spent gaming, trying to drown out the thoughts, and honestly it works? His sleep schedule becomes worse and worse, because if he lays down and tries to sleep his thoughts start slipping back to you. So he stays up gaming until his body makes him pass out.

But.. of course, it slowly starts to creep up at him. Unfortunately not everything can just be shoved away. As much as he tries. And as he wants. He has learned this lesson twice it seems.. Everything reminds him of you. The way you used to watch him play, the way you would bring him his favorite gummy warms, the quietly company you gave him.

he might even start to write dramatic messages that he will never send you.

“Yk it’s like fine that yur gone. Totally fine. Who needs romance anyways, ya know!?! LOLZ! 2D is pretty cool! No irl lag! Unless u wanna hang out or come back LOLOLOL…… plz.”

INSTANT DELETE

And now, once the shock and feelings start to flood though after weeks of avoiding, the self blame starts.

“ yeah.. of course they left. Who’s gonna wanna date a shut in weirdo who forgets to eat unless his brother reminds him..? Yeah. Gg. Good run.”

Idia can not stop analyzing every single little text you had ever sent him. Trying to calculate the exact moment it all went wrong, when it all fell apart.

“ ugh… was it that time I skipped the date?!?! They texted with a period.. oh here when i said that meme mid argument..? No, wait! Maybe it was when i.. UGH! ORTHO, REBOOT ME!”

The idea of having to face you again feels like an actual boss fight he’s under leveled for. So every single spot you may even possibly have to walk by, he avoids it. An absolute death wish.

And of course, his little brother ends up being his emotional anchor

“… Big brother, maybe you should just talk to them?”

“NO WAY!! I’ll just make it all sososos much worse!!! Im like.. emotionally radioactive.”

But, unluckily for idia. Ortho forces him to start the “Self improvement arc (with unskippable side quests)” . He has to fix “things that hurt his relationship hp” according to his little brother.

Though, while he does that you start noticing odd things if you ever log into a game you both used to play together. You might start to get in game items from a “mystery sender” which is clearly him. No one else could have such high leveled and rare items. Or even find code notes left in your favorite in game places.

“lol hey. No pressure. Just know u been wanting this skin 4ever. Just.. miss u. cringe ik. Hope yur hp is full.”

If you DO take idia back? He is beyond careful with you. Every single message he starts to send you starts with “ hey, r u okay? How was yur day?”

And shockingly, THE idia. The genus shut in? Has become more affectionate with you. WITH ACTUAL affection. Shocker. We all know. Holding your hand during movie nights. Let’s you rest against him while he games. (Im thinking maybe even lets you sit on his lap hugging you while he games.) and sends you “status updates” throughout the day. Good. No more ghosting you for hours on end.

“I used to think love was like a limited time even. Ya’know. Something I’d never unlock. But.. guess u respawned into my life again… thx. Gg. U win..”

MALLEUS DRACONIA

A heartbreak of the Fae? I is devastatingly beautiful, the kind of ache that echoes through centuries. Someone as old, powerful, and lonely as malleus finally opens his heart? And for it to be ripped away from his world? Devastating.

Of course malleus would never rage at you. He won’t beg. (Not at first.) His love is deep and reverent, yes. But never possessive.

So when you finally tell him it’s fully over, his response is heartbreakingly calm. His voice is steady, but his eyes were ancient and sorrowful. They dimmed just a bit.

“I see… You have made your decision. If my presence brings you distress, I shall not trouble you further.”

Malleus will slowly start to withdraw, until gone fully. The gargoyles will see him less, the storms around Diasomnia grows stronger, harsher. To the point it is hard to simply talk to the dormitory.

Magic will start to hum around Diasomnia with faint ache, as if even the air feels his loss.

Malleus starts to.. well talk to Lilia a bit more, or maybe to himself as the walks though the garden. In quiet reflection. He doesn’t hate you for it, he adores you. But he believes its fate.

“Was I too strange? Too forceful. Perhaps it was folly to think a human heart could easily stand by mine..”

For malleus, love wasn’t just simple affection. It was connection. You were the first person who treated him as Malleus, not as a prince, or a fae, or symbol of power. So the world feels.. oddly empty.

Malleus does visit the places you shared together, the courtyard of Ramshackle Gate, the hill under the stars. He stands there in silence, feeling the echo of your laugher like a ghost.

There will start to be small magical mishaps, his deep emotions, they start to seep into the world, flowers will start to wilt, the storms grow unbelievably harsh, glass hums faintly like it holding itself from breaking when he is near.

Soon enough, Malleus begins to understand that you weren’t a fleeting love that fate was ready to end. You were the spark that made his endless isolation feel less lonely.

He doesn’t rush back to you, never. He is afraid he would frighten you, that you would reject him again. So, slowly he will start showing you small signs of his longing for you.

Soft apologetic whispers from the wind, it hums softly, like a voice when you walk home.

“ If i frightened you.. if my world was too much for yours, i am sorry. I only wished to share it with you.”

Malleus will finally go and seek you out. It isnt dramatic, its quite.

You find him waiting outside Ramshackle has he always did before, his eyes were soft, no auto of command, no storm. Simply himself.

If you do take him back, he treats the second chance like it is sacred. He looks at you, and his eyes hold a q unite promise that will not dim, even at the end of time.

“ I did not come to demand your heart again, only to see you again. The truth is.. you were the only light I found in my own dark isolation.”

RIDDLE ROSEHEARTS

Riddle is the type to be absolutely and fully flustered mess with you.

The poor boy would treat his feelings like a problem that needed to be solved, and equations he only has to study to get over. He doesn’t see these feelings as something natural, it’s more of a nuisance he can’t get rid of.

He often tells himself that that this all is compete “nonsense” that he even feels this way. Clearly, this is simply steaming from admiration for your diligence or maybe even your etiquette!! Of course, it’s nothing more!!!

…. It has nothing to do with the fact that he’ll quietly study you. Daily. Every chance he is given.

Noticing what you like, what you’re good at, what frustrates you, the way you smile at grim. He’ll remember every detail.

“You prefer two sugars in your tea, yes? Ah? Don’t look so surprised, i simply noticed you make a face when there is only one sugar added to your tea.”

Fine. Alright. He may have some small little feelings towards you. Nothing he isn’t able to handel of course.

Since Riddle isn’t exactly.. well lack for better terms, Riddles isn’t smooth. At all. Not even a little, he has never had to navigate these type of feelings before. So bear with him.

He will start giving you acts of service that are disgusted as rule enforcement. He’ll start to scold you for breaking a rule, but then quickly and gently fix whatever the problem really was.

“You should not be skipping breakfast! In the Queens laws, section 43, article F. One should always have breakfast by 9:15, sharp. Come with me now, we will get you something from the kitchen.

Small, yet thoughtful gifts start to find their way towards you. Not showy, not really his vibe, but something sweet. A bookmark if you enjoy reading, A beautiful high quality pen if you enjoy writing. And if you mentioned a stressful day, your favorite pastry was at your dormroom doorstep.

And now suddenly you find yourself being invited to private tea time, or study sessions that “just so happen” to include only you. He claims its only because you are from earth and need extra help, but his cheeks will be pink the whole time.

Riddle will start to get subtly defensive if anyone speaks a bit too harshly to you. Thought he will completely deny this if you ever bring this up to him!

“What?! No, it wasn’t ‘for you’. Don’t be ridiculous!! I merely thought they were being unnecessarily rude, thats all.”

Expect formal gestures all of a sudden. Such as walking you to class, offering his arm to you, taking your books into his arms, making sure you walk on the left side of the sidewalk.

“You’ve turned my world upside down. Yet, somehow even with this horrid unstructured feelings… I still hope you notice them.”

LEONA KINGSCHOLAR

Honestly, Leona notices you much sooner than you ever noticed him. He noticed you the very first day you somehow ended up in twisted wonderland and made a mess at orientation.

Although, him noticing you doesn’t necessarily mean he cared about you. He didn’t. It was more of a glance over at the mess, and a scoff of annoyance.

Leona doesn’t fall fast. Hell he hardly falls at all. But he definitely gains interests in you if you’re sharp, overly confident, or someone who doesn’t easily bow down to him. Even if it is a very very slow gain of interest in you.

He thrives on challenge. Leona is someone who hates if things are easily handed to him, despite how lazy he really is. And you? Quickly became his more intriguing challenge.

He’ll start to lounge around nearby more often. On your way to class with ace and deuce? Somehow Leona is there “napping” under a tree on the path to your class.

He’s watching, from a distance of course. Quietly studying your reactions, your voice, your laugh.

When Leona decides you are worth his time, he will start to poke fun at you. At your temper, insecurities, annoyances. Just to see how you handle pressure. If you snap back at him..? His smirk gets dangerously proud.

“Oh yeah? Huh. You’ve got bite. I like that.”

Leonas version of.. “courting” (I use that term very loosely) if very unconventional.

He is never going to chase you, never. But he will make you come to him. That doesn’t mean he’s not trying. He’s just confident enough to make it seem effortless.

Things like physical proximity? Yeah. That. Leona will get close, maybe leaning on your shoulder grumping that the floor was to hard. Stretching beside you on the grass, flicking your forehead? Expect all of that.

Lazy and causal dominance. Just to subtly to show others to back off. He will take your bag like it is no big deal, swinging it over his shoulder easily. Tug you closer if someone is bothering you. Yawning and draping his arm over your shoulder because “it’s just comfy.”

I think he would be lowkey protective over you. Not overbearing, and rarely so. If someone crosses the line, they’ll then themselves “unlucky” for the next few days, and somehow they come and frantically apologize to you. Leona will never admit to even being involved

“Huh? Oh please, you think i have time for that? Dont flatter yourself, herbivore.”

He will start to give nicknames. You stop being “you”, and start being his. “Herbivore”, “Trouble”, “my headache”. (You will NEVER be called something sweet by Leona. Get that thought OUT of your head. NOW!!)

You will have a lazy romance, Leona wont bring you flowers, but.. he will let you nap beside him in the sun. Position himself between you and danger without thinking twice. He will never say “i love you” but he will show it.

“Don’t go running off. You’re comfortable right here.”

AZUL ASHENGROTTO

Where Riddles affection for you is structured, Leonas is instinctual. Azul? His affection is strategic.

Azul doesn’t let his emotions rule him, so then he first realizes anything his initial reaction? Pure and full denial. It well be pushed to the side like they were some contract he refused to sign.

“ It’s just curiosity, of course! A simple matter of observing human behavior. Perfectly rational! Who wouldn’t be curious of the perfect from another world?”

But.. you just won’t go away. You wont allow him to push you aside and ignore you. You simply kept showing up, smiling at him, challenging him, maybe even seeing past his business persona.. and now. He is suck.

So, of course Azul does what he does best. Gather information. He’ll subtly ask the twins to go dig up details about you. To take notes on your habits, your favorite drinks, your class schedule. All under the pretense of “preparing for negotiations”.

Azul is always polite, but with you? Flawless politeness. When you speak to him, he’s perfectly composed. Gentlemanly smiles, refined tone, though his hands may twitch a bit if you get too close. He may even shift away from you.

You will start to reserve compliments that are hidden as analysis.

“Well look at that. You have admirable work ethic, there is no wonder so many people are compelled to speak with you. Perhaps you should spend more time at the lounge, hm?”

Azul doesn’t flirt openly, it would almost be like giving away his hand. Everything he does is layered with intent, like a game of chess and he fully intends to win.

Azul will start to invite you over to the Mostro Lounge to “discuss matters of importance”, but then it rarely ever is… most of the time it’s you and him sitting in one of his booths as he asked you to try a new drink. Then he acts offended if you imply it’s a “date”.

“A date? Oh please, hardly. Unless of course, you ask for it to be then it may be arranged.”

But nonetheless, it’s sweet to get small luxuries from Azul. Your favorite drinks perfectly prepared at your desk in class. Attached with a small discount card “just for you.”

Once Azul is in deep, he is loyal. As manipulative and business oriented he is, the affection he gives you is genuine. Which is unbelievably rare when it comes to Azul.

If you’re stressed he’ll “coincidentally” offer resources to help you. with no contract or charge added. (Shocking, even for him.)

“Mm? You were struggling with that project? Oh! How fortunate for your poor soul, I happen to have the exact reference you need.”

Azul will bring out his affection through comfort. Things like brining your rare favorite tea blends, lend you his coat when you’re cold, checking to make sure your homework is in order for you. But if you thank him too warmly,m he will short circuit.

“If you knew how often I think of you… You’d probably believe I was a different man.”

IDIA SHROUD

Idia is the absolute embodiment of emotional whiplash, and shy sincerity. He is the kind of person who’ll fall for you hard behind a computer screen, long before he ever says a word in person.

Idia does NOT Handel crushes well.. at all. The every moment he even realizes he likes you? Full on hell. His brain goes in full meltdown mode. A.K.A. Denial.exe.

He will quite literally do everything else but admit he has a crush out loud. Probably starting off with online coping. He will vent. Private chats, maybe anonymous forum.

“Um… WHY does this NPC lvl weirdo make my heart spike like a boss battle??? No thats not even enough, like a boss hitting u leaving yur health bar @ 1 hp w/ ZERO saves.”

Digital stalking. (Harmless though.) Idia.. well, he will memorize your full online schedule. Your favorite games, fandoms, even sometimes he will check your dorms activity feed to “make sure you’re alive!”

Idia.. ah. If he didn’t already avoid you enough already, now? Yeah. It’s so much worse. He goes into compete panic, the second you approach him? The tips of his hair flares soft pink and he runs so fast it almost looks like he teleports out.

Once Idia finally tires to show genuine feelings and goes into panic mode 2.0. He tries in his own very awkward way.

I think idia would blurt out his thoughts to you by compete mistake. Almost like flusters confessions that aren’t really confessions.

“ It’s not like i, uh, think about you all the time or anything!! Okay! Well maybe.. a little.. BUT ONLY LIKE, normal amounts!! Totally normal!! Don’t look at me like that!!”

Idia would start to build in security firewalls that coincidentally make sure you and any type of devices you have are safer, and run much better than they ever have.

Embarrassed mode has been fully unlocked. Idia acts like spending time with you is a compete hassle. But, in reality he is thrilled you even want to see him.

“ Fine, wtv. You can hang out in my room.. but don’t you dare touch my figures! Er.. okay Fine. Just don’t touch that one!!!!”

I think idia would have glitchy reactions, red face, hair tips blazing neon pink, speech buffering like some old file. But, once he calms down he becomes incredibly sweet. He will listen to every word you say, comfort you in his awkward way, and ever take your attention you give him for granted.

Idias love language? Absolutely Quality times about all else. Shared interests and digital affections.

He will say up late gaming with you, spending you memes of things you both like, and even coding games with you as the main character so you both can play it together.

You catch idia starting at you sometimes, his eyes soft. Like he cant believe you are real. And honestly, you shouldn’t be. You should be in some weirdo place called “earth” or wtv. But.. thank everything that you are here. With him.

Finally.. while you are playing a game he coded for you, he whispers “I like you,” it’s quiet, but so unbelievably truthful.

“Ur like.. a secret lvl I didnt think I’d unlock. I can’t even log out now.. gg. U win.”

MALLEUS DRACONIA

Malleus loves with deep reverence. He doesn’t just “like” you, no thats not enough. Malleus adores you, wholly, fully, quietly. With gravity of centuries behind his heart.

Malleus is drawn to you because you don’t treat him like everyone else does. You are not afraid of him. You speak to him, you scold him, to you. Malleus is a person. That alone fascinates him.

There is a gentle curiously he has for you, he will start appearing near you as much as he can. Sometimes it is by pure mistake, others it is not. You can sometimes see a flicker of light outside the Ramshackle dorm at night, and a familiar silhouette waiting just outside the gates.

At other times, you can see that he is trying to listen to you. Which may not seem like much, but to malleus it is worth more than you would know. He will remember everything you say, from your the time you stubbed your toe, down to the name of your childhood pet.

“Hm..? Oh think nothing of it. You mentioned once that you admired the stares. I found a constellation that stars your name.. do you wish to join me to see it?”

Then every now and then you start noticing odd magical gestures. Your quilt breaks? Puff, it has mended itself back to normal. You were out late with ace and deuce? The lanterns to the Ramshackle dorm softly start to glow on its on when you pass. He never says it is him, but you have a feeling it always is.

Being courted by a Fae is.. odd to say the least. His every interaction becomes quietly intimate, like you were swept into some odd fairly tale book you read when you were younger.

There is of course filled with endless amounts of old fashioned chivalry. Malleus bows slightly when greeting you, taking your hand and kissing the back. Opening your doors, speaks with elegance of someone who was raised on centuries of etiquette. (Everyone say thank you Lilia)

Malleus stars to invite you to stroll thought the moonlight gardens, or even the quite towers of diasomnia. Anywhere your heart desires he will walk with you.

Thought, he wont demand your time even if it is all he wants. But, if you are in danger just know he will appear when you need him the most, almost like a wish you didnt know you had made.

When malleus realizes that he has fallen in love with you fully, its both beautiful and terrifying. Royalist and dragons like him dont love lightly, and he’s never been loved for himself before. So this is special.

“No one shall harm you. Not while i draw breath. That is my promise to you.”

Despite all of his power, Malleus can be surpassingly unsure when it comes to giving you any form of affection. Maybe asking if humans enjoy holding hands often, or if you enjoy to do so.

His gifts will carry meaning. Every single one. A flower that never wilts. A pendant that glows when you think of him. Small things that hum with his magic, and of course, his love.

When Malleus finally speaks with his heart, it cares haunting softness that only he has.

To him, love isnt fleeting. Its a bond of souls. And his has chosen you.

“Even if centuries pass, I shall remeber your laugher. For it has become a part of my eternity.”

Riddles first reaction was.. well.. it was to freeze. Fully and completely. His posture? Completely straightened to an unbelievable degree. His brain goes blank, he quite literally is unable to process any words.

“ I.. Ah?! Pardon? You what?”

He will blink at you in silents as his mind races. Processing each of the words that came from your mouth. Then his entire face? Absolutely flushed. Not only his cheeks, his ears, neck, everything as he stares at you in silent disbelief.

Riddle will quickly try to respond, shaking his head quickly clearing his throat behind his fisted gloved hand but his voice cracks ever so slightly.

His first instinct? Analyze why you would like him.

“ Do.. Do they even understand what they’re even saying?! They must.. surely they.. No, they surely don’t mean that kind of ‘like’”

Riddle really is fully convinced it must be a misunderstanding on his end. That he isn’t fully understanding your words and taking them in a way you didn’t intend for them to be. Perhaps you meant you like him in admiration? Or academic respect? Or did you simply like the order and schedule he has brought to your life? Ah.. poor Riddle may even just have to hold himself back from pacing back and forth in thought.

“I mustn’t jump into any sort of conclusions. Think logically Riddle. Anything else would be improper.”

Riddle will fully listen to every single one of your words. Carefully. Fully. Taking in every one of your expressions. His eyes would widen halfway though your confession and his communication skills (or what little there is of) will completely shut down on him.

Riddle will try his very best to say something meaningful, something articulate. Something like,

“ I see, I must admit this confession is quite unexpected. But I deeply appreciate your words, thank you.”

But… what truly left his mouth was absolutely humiliating.

“ I— Ah!! Right! Thank you..? I mean, yes—ah no!— wait!! Sorry I didn’t mean.. what i mean to say is—“

He would probably run off soon after, quickly mumbling a quiet and quick apology about improperly excusing himself form the conversation, saying he will respond in a few hours.

But the second Riddle is alone in his dorm room? He will simply sit on his bed, his hand clasped in his lap, staring blankly at the ground trying desperately to regain his composure.

He replays your confession a hundred times. The way your tone of voice hit his ears. That look in your eyes. Every. Single. Detail.

I believe that once Riddle sees you again, his manners wouldn’t improve, he would simply switch into hyper politeness to you.

Riddle is a VERY big slow burn, He’d want to be absolutely sure of his feelings before acting.

When the roles switch and he is the one confessing to you? It’ll be formal, maybe in the rose garden in his dorms garden.

“ You were honest with me. So please allow me to return that to you. I found myself… thinking of you more than I thought was plausible. Allow me to show you the depths of these feelings.”

AZUL ASHENGROTTO

Azul? Well.. of course in Azul fashion, he immediately smiles at you. Charming. Polite. Calm. So calm to the point that even you start to get worried about rejection. Then finally he speaks, his voice like honey.

“Oh? Is that so? Well then, I’m flattered. Truly.”

But behind that smooth and calm exterior? In the safety of his own mind? He was screaming.

“Wait— they like me..? Me?!? This has to be a trick. It must be. They wish to get a contract with no return for me. Of course, thats it. How cunning of an approach.”

Unfortunately for you, his instincts kick in. He is used to every compliment having strings attached. And now that includes your words.

So he bows his head to you, his smile still placed firmly on his mouth. Calmly asking you to leave his office and he will get back to you within 7 business days. You cringed at his calm bluntness as you left.

Of course he doesn’t trust you at all at first. He truly thinks you want a favor for free. He’ll investigate you fully for days after. Every move you make, every word you said, your tone in voice? All of it becomes mental case study to him.

You smiled differently at him, 12:23 pm. Noted.

Touched his arm by accident, or perhaps on purpose. Noted.

You.. oddly were willing to endure Floyd’s odd form of “play” to spend a few extra moments with azul. Idiotic. But, noted.

You brought him a treat. He didn’t accept because he didn’t wish to be indebted to you. Though, still noted.

He starts to research you. Memorizing your habits, your likes, how you talk with others vs how you talk with him. He wishes to find “evidence” of your true sincerity.

When he is with the Leech twins, azul paces back and forth in his office. His steps precise but quick. While he mumbled his thoughts out-loud.

“Hm. They couldn’t possibly be serious. Though, if this was a joke it seems far too cruel for them. Although, mid-terms are coming up so that could be why they suddenly express feelings…”

Floyd teases him endlessly, of course. While jade only smiles nodding his head with a soft chuckle.

“Heeeshhh. Shrimpy’s got a crush on you,~” Azul would cringe harshly at Floyd’s teasing casing his glasses to tilt.

He cant sleep. Once he knows you are being truthful, he stays up until 3AM making a pros and cons list of dating you.

“ Statistically speaking.. what are the odds it would last? It would be little gain, with a high chance of attachment… but then..”

He would start to become even more self concepts around you. Adjusting glasses when it isn’t needed. Clearing his throat a bit more often. Straightens his tie. Even his tone will slowly start to change. He is still articulate, smooth, but.. somehow it becomes ever so slightly softer with you.

And great 7 forbid… to his absolute horror. he started doing things for you… for free. Without even realizing it. Remembering how you like your drinks and having it ready for you before you visit the lounge. Allowing you to stay in his office while he works and you relax.

When azul finally lets himself feel fully, it’s.. shaky. But.. sincere.

“I thought I was prepared to say this to you. But seeing you in front of me is.. easier said than done.. You’ve.. completely unraveled me. You.. do realize that, don’t you..?”

KALIM AI-ASIM

Well with Kalim, can you expect anything less other than a complete light up? He beams with wide eyes looking at you like you just told him it’s his birthday and all of Scarabia threw him the biggest and most grand party ever!

“Really!? You like me!! REALLY?!?!”

Honestly, he doesn’t even slightly try to hide the absolute joy he is feeling. He is grinning, eyes wide, and completely and fully ecstatic. The grin on his face was unbreakable.

Kalim doesn’t overthink it at all. Not even for a second. He just believes you. Because of course, you’re friends! You’re nice, why wouldn’t you be honest with him?!

He would clap his hands brightly with an absolutely delighted laugh and grin. Just such a pure and bright sound that it was almost hard to look at him without your heart melting into a pool on the floor.

“That’s amazing!! I like you too! Aha!”

… but then he would blink immediately realizing what he said then tilting his head at you.

“Ah!! Sorry! Wait! I meant like-like!! Did you mean friend-like?! Oh no!! I totally messed that up, didn’t I!?! Ah man!”

He would start to ramble, waving his hand in front of him, trying to fix his words thinking you might have meant you liked him just as a friend. His face was pink.. how cute.

Later, he’ll be sprawled out onto his back on his bed. A pillow hugged at his chest as he stared straight at the ceiling. Then he started to giggled brightly and kick his feet and absolute and pure delight. Jamils eye twitched in annoyance as he set out Kalim outfit for the next day.

“They like me!!! Like, actually like me!! Jamil!! Can you believe that?!”

“… Yes, Kalim. You’ve mentioned it seven times. “

Kalim is so genuine with his pure happiness that it was hard for Jamil to be fully annoyed, just.. mildly annoyed.

Kalim becomes extra affectionate when it comes to you. But don’t fear! Not in the showy way! He wouldn’t by you an elephant (yet), but… filled with warm and little gestures. Like brining you snacks he saw and thought you would enjoy, or inviting you to you hand out with him every chance he gets. Rather than focusing in class he would doodle your name in his notebook with hearts around it.

He will glow around you. The second he sees you walk into a room he will immediately light up and wave his hand widely with the brightest smile.

Kalim.. cannot play it cool. At all. He wears his heart on his sleeve. He’ll tell everyone in Scaribia he is in love. Not to brag!! No not at all! He is just so happy

“ Sorry, sorry!! Aha!! I got too excited!! You don’t have to say anything yet!! Just.. being right next to you is just fine for me!”

IDIA SHROUD

Okay… well.. what did you expect.. really. Those pretty blue flames you adored. FWUM. Go pink instantly. Like.. absolutely immediately. He couldn’t hide it. The tips of his hair literally flickered like those RGB keyboards with soft pink color. His mouth falls open.

Idias brain? For as much of a genius as he was, absolutely crashes. No thoughts could come out or go in. All that was running though his mind was,

“Uh…. Wait. What? Error. 404: social comprehension zero. Not found. Try again later.”

Honestly, he will assume it’s a prank. Like… a really really mean one. But still a prank. OH! Or a dare! Or someone was streaming this? He is so used to being the background character, that genuine affection feels so unreal to him.

Idia instantly refuses to look you in the eye, hunching into his hoodie and starts to nervously fidget with his tablet. As if trying to hide behind it like it was some kind of shield.

“ Uh.. okay just to make sure you know I’m not an otome game love interest. Like this routes ending is pretty cringe! There is like a 98% chance you’re mixing me up with someone like.. way cooler!!”

Idia isn’t the type to awnser you right away. So he gives you an awkward thumbs up after you are reassured that he was the guy you genuinely liked. Idia quickly walks past you leaving you standing there utterly confused of what that thumbs up even meant.

The second he gets back into his dorm room? Idia goes into full “it’s a social experiment” mode. He’ll literally will sit at his computer quickly typing into the search bar

“What to do if someone likes u”

“What to do if someone likes u but you’re a socially anxious shut in.”

Idia is going to start avoiding you. A lot. Not really because how he hates you and wants you to never see him or speak to him again. Is more.. Out of fear of saying something so unbelievably stupid that you will look at him differently.

But in the mean time, he will overanalyzes every single little smallest interaction you’re ever had. Every time you smiled at him? Now it’s life-altering memory. That one time you bought him a game he had been eyeing? Now a decoration of your undying love for him.

Once he accepts it, only because ortho confirms it fully with proof to back up the claim, idia becomes flustered. Somehow worse than he normally is. It’s… a little hard to watch.

He won’t speak to you normally for a while. The face to face conversations become even more rare. But, sometimes he will text you. Well, after typing them and deleting them over and over again for like 30 minutes. But hey! A text is a text!

He just gets extra shy, The confident online persona vanishes completely.

I think he would be secretly giddy though. He’ll stay up all night thinking about you. He will play a new game and “accidentally” name his character right after you.

He will start to do small slightly nervous things to you though. Sharing limited edition in game items with you, inviting you to watch him game while he streams it to you, or.. maybe he will even let you sit near him while he works.

“So. uh.. statically speaking. If you like me, and I kinda like you too. Maybe.. we could.. uh.. do like.. relationship things?? Maybe??? Ew was that mega cringe to ask?!”

MALLEUS DRACONIA

Malleus doesn’t really have a reaction right away. He more so… kind of stares at you. A soft frown of his face, and his green eyes widen ever so slightly as he tilts his head at you. There is.. a very long pause. Before finally he speaks.

“ you.. like me?”

His voice was calm and gentle. It’s wasn’t filled with disbelief in a prideful way, no. It was something else. It was pure and genuine confusion.

Malleus is used to people simply fearing him, to avoid him, bow down to him and his every move. Liking him? That was something he had never heard before a day in the many years he has been alive.

Under his composed calm, it was like thunder storming inside of his every bone as he could only stare at you blankly. Someone.. saw him. Not as a prince or a fae. But something more special, as himself. And more than that. Someone saw him and liked what they saw.

He only could gently tilt his head once more as he replayed your words over and over again like a spell he couldnt believe that was genuine .

Malleus was silent the while time you spoke, his eyes never leaving you once. But the second you finished, there was now a soft smile replacing the gentle frown. A real one.

“ I see.. how curious. Forgive me. I am unused to hearing such words. Though, do not fear. They do mean more to me than you might imagine they do.”

His tone was gentle. It was an odd tone to hear from him, it was like you had just gifted him something scared. And to him, in same way you have.

Malleus didn’t respond to your affections right away, nor did he accept them straight away. He is a prince after all, but later that night. He’ll wander around his garden or maybe by Ramshackle under the moonlight, simply in thought. His thoughts gently slipping out of his mouth thinking outloud.

“ Hm.. they like me. Truly. Despite what i am. Despite the horns, power, fear.”

His chest feels light, maybe even warm. In a way he couldn’t describe, and he might even smile ever so softly to himself.

Malleus will start watching you fondly, perhaps even a more protectively. He’ll notice small things, how you laugh. How you pronounce certain words. Even down the exact rhythm of your footsteps.

When malleus loves, it’s truly and fully all consuming. But gentle. He wont rush. No.. it’s slow, courtly, and deep and calm affection for you.

“For so long, I have dwelled in the shadows of my own isolation. Though.. your light has started to reach even that. I am drawn to you, so please take my hand and allow me to court you.”

BOUNUS: Sebek is in complete denial. He is not a fan of you. At all.

“ IMPOSSIBLE! THE YOUNGE MASTER WOULD NEVER LOWER HIMSELF TO A HUMAN OF ALL THINGS! AND THAT ONE?!”
