Zeno didn’t really know Froggy. He just knew she was that ugly mean mean girl that Achie met when they spent time at the campt thingy Ms Lily is at. He doesn’t like her, she was gonna steal his brother. And then her mama came around too, and she stole Ms Ellie! Both of them were ugly and mean mean meanies. He doesn’t see Froggy around often, but the small child does not ever hesitate in insulting the girl the few times he’s bumped into her in the past year. Didn’t like her OR her mama. They kept stealing thingies and she sucked- plus he’s heard she has TWO papas! Why did her and her stupid mama have to come around and steal Ms.Ellie so he could never talk with her? She’s a whore! A bitch! The angry words- he doesn’t really know the meaning, just that they’re angry words, so he calls them angry words. Bitch fucker whore and stuffs like that, the angry words, says them when mads. He has no fucking clue what some of them mean, but he knows it makes people react badly being called them- so he’s probably using them right.

Nero stared at the little girl for a moment. Then his eyes started feeling a little wet. Before he knew it, he was shedding tears of joy and hugging his daughter close to his face, smiling. "Oh my gods- yes, papa. Papa's here-"

“Nono” Claudia pointed at Zenos door “wan Nono” Claudia whined.

"Nono?" He looked where she was pointing. What a smart girl she is. Nono must be Zeno. And she knows where his room is. Nero could not be more proud right now. He smiled and nodded. "Of course. Let's go see Nono."

Zeno’s room was. Not fixing tidy at all, probably because he more just stays there randomly or wriggles around like a feral kitten. So. So many times he’s had to be helped from ‘the monster’… his mattress. Which he has insisted is trying to eat him. Because he’s not used to soft things, and he would sink into the bed very easily.

Seeing the scene, Nero just sighed. He knew Zeno wasn't... really all that used to comfort like what he has here, but seriously! It's been a bit, he'd have thought the little guy would stop screaming at everyday objects. He panicked briefly when the little girl in his arms started screaming too, deciding to rock her and shushing her in an attempt to calm her down. He sat down on the bed, now having to calm down two kids, which was... tricky.

Zeno knew he shouldn’t be afraid, but when he got comfy, it really felt like it was gonna eat him! It’s fluffier than Miss Lily’s cabin thingy area, and he never got used to that too. He should be better. He shouldn’t be afraid of things… Lune and Achie aren’t afraid of things. Papa Roro and his the Jasper guy didn’t seem much afraid either. Alex and Osi weren’t scared either, and Miss Ellie probably wasn’t scared of stuffs.

"Not what, who." He corrected and pulled Zeno into his lap. Just to have both kids in close reach. He didn't let the baby too close to the toddler just yet, though. He wanted to make sure it would be safe first. "Claudia Augusta is my daughter."

Zeno squinted at the girl. She looked a bit like Papa Roro… but she has different hair. Hair is light. But Papa Roro’s hair is dark. Don’t babies need mamas? Papa Roro’s isn’t with any mamas.. Zeno didn’t think. At least.

"Yeah, she wants to see you." Good gods, Claudia Augusta was so adorable like this.. trying to see Zeno and stuff. Nero didn't really understand why the little boy was confused about it though. Why wouldn't people want to meet him? That was the strangest thing to the emeperor. Was the little blonde child just nervous? Shy? He could not understand why he would be that. He rocked the little girl in his arms a little before looking at Zeno again.

Zeno would just look between his papa and the baby, a glance at each.. she’s so tiny. And she. Wants to be close? Why? And— hold? Should he hold her? What if he drops her- is it okay if he drops her? She looks very small. Can she break??

"Hey-" Nero held Claudia closer to himself, his hands more secure on her. "Cades et te laesurus es si id feceris, filia." He spoke to her like she understood him. To be completely fair, she is Roman, so there's a good chance she might've. Probably didn't, though. Since she's about a year old... a little more than a year. So maybe she does. If she understands speech now, she likely knows Latin better than English.

“AH-“ Zeno yelped as the girl had moved forward and nearly fallen- though immediately calmed down when his papa had hold of her again. What if she fell? She’s so tiny :( she’ll probably get hurt :(((

"Alright.." The emperor slowly lowered Claudia into Zeno's arms gently, waiting for him to get a good hold of her before slowly letting go, but keeping his hands close in case the little boy needed him to do anything or something goes wrong. "There we go."

Zeno watched as Nero carefully set Claudia Augusta into his arms.. she was warm, and sorta squishy, but not very squishy. And she made weird noises.. she seemed to like the word no. Does she like the word? She keeps saying it.

Nero was honestly just supervising this, wanting to make sure nothing bad happens. He smiled at the babies, watching them interact. He kept his hands nearby, just in case Zeno freaks out. No one knows with this kid. "Yes, baby, Nono." He smiled at Claudia, her little nickname of her sibling was so adorable.

Zeno was very confused and probably would’ve freaked out at all the grabbing and everything- he was very confused, but this was Nero’s baby- he was more terrified of doing something wrong and messing it up with his papa. The little blonde’s hair was definitely frizzy from the static he generated, but he just kinda silently sat there and let the littler baby get grabby.

The emperor probably couldn't be more proud of both of the babies. He was a little worried Zeno was going to drop Claudia, sure, but that's why he was there. To catch the little girl if anything happens. He noticed the boy's confusion and gently ruffled his hair. "That's what she calls you. She can't say a lot of words yet. It's like a little nickname."

Zeno eased up a bit at the hair ruffle, not sitting stiff as a board and practically electrocuting the ai with worry. He would look at the little gal again. So tiny. She made a big mouth noise but it was quiet- that’s a tired noise, he knows that! Shes sleepy? That why she want to be held? Maybe? Zeno made a ‘o’ shape with his mouth at the explanation, “Ooooohhh…” Zeno tilted his head, looking down at the little gal.. how fall asleep so fast? Was he comfy? Maybe? “..why can’t she say lotta words?” Zeno asked after a beat of silence- he wasn’t sure why she would talk very small. The misses and misters told him he had to ‘speak formally’ or not at all- something like that, he didn’t really care. But half the time it meant that Zeno was saying words and using big sentences, purely from having memorized what the usual reaction would be. Why couldn’t the small girl talk? Was she just so small that she couldn’t? Is it because smol? Why?

Lune tip toed to the medical wing to find Zeno. When she entered Zenos medical room she went to him and whispered “hey, do you want to come play with me?” She stared at the younger boy with big eyes

Lune taped Zeno and then ran away from him. She was giggling, unsuspecting that she should probably be careful of the little guy

Nero was wandering the halls of the palace, with nothing better to do, he simply walked around. At one point, he passed by the kids playing and- he had to do a double take. Was he seeing this right? Gods, Zeno should be resting! He just went ahead and picked the little guy up.

Zeno squealed as he was picked up suddenly, like a cat, underneath his arms and pulled up “Eheheh-“ the little guy just giggled, looking over at his papa with a smile, even if a bit confused why he was suddenly grabbed away from the game, “Papa Roro!”

He looked down at the two children, those two that just... wouldn't give up on hanging around him, that wouldn't stop calling him parental titles. How'd he end up like this, again? "With his healing arm? I don't think so."

Zeno frowned as his papa did not put him down and mentioned his injury- but he is okay! :( why can’t he play? This seems unfair! “Aweww… but we were havings fun???” The small blonde whined in the Emperor’s arms, he didn’t understand why he needed to rest- his arm was less hurty! And even then the yellow thingy can make hurty go away, so why can’t he play with his sparkly sister??

"That doesn't mean it's fully healed." The emperor wished he could explain this better, but there was no way these children would understand it. He just had to keep it simple, he'd imagine they weren't taught much about the world- did they even have their shots? No matter, he was going to think about that later. He looked down at Lune, a bit confused at first- but then he realized she must be talking about his infant daughter. Now, the question was, how on earth did she figure out she was there? He didn't remember introducing the two to Claudia yet. "The baby? She's too small to play with you yet..."

Zeno just frowned and made a small ‘aw’ noise at being told he couldn’t play with lune… that made him sad, did he do a bad? Is that why he couldn’t play?? “Did I do a bad? He didn't intend on punishing either of them, he now knew just how fragile children can be- and they reminded him too much of Claudia Augusta for him to do anything bad to them- he kept wondering if she'd be like them back then.
