"Quite right," Minho smile wasn't condescending but his usual easy-going smile, albeit a bit teasing now. He doesn't encroach the young woman's space, keeping a healthy distance. His arm was curled around a basket filled with his mid-week grocery run.

"But not to offend," He says gently, still all warm smiles. "I saw you struggling to get to the top shelf a good few minutes ago, so I was wondering if you'd like some assistance?" He didn't think it was polite to point out their height difference.

Most of the time, Alice preferred to do things herself, but sometimes, she knew it was better to take a step back and let the more capable do the job.

As her new one-time shopping assistant went to fetch her the carton of milk, Alice quickly went down the aisle of milk products to collect the remained items in the list. There weren't many things to begin with, so when he came back with the milk, he also conveniently helped her finished the shopping list.

"Remind me to write them a letter of suggestion about adding more step ladders, " she agreed, welcoming the box in his hand and putting it in her shopping cart.

"Thank you for your help, Minho, please just call me Alice," she introduced herself with a friendly smile, finding herself a bit more relaxed in his presence. There was this thought came across her mind, triggered by his question, and Alice just happened to find herself in the right mood to give it a shot.

As they went towards the check-out line, he turns back towards her question and he smiles and nods again. "Sure no problem, I'm always happy to help a fellow citizen." He adds his phone number after and then politely asks for hers.

"Chief, I'm fine..." Minho gave an uncharacteristic puff of his breath, trying not to fidget under the ministrations of his boss. It was bad enough he had been caught unawares at a situational training with the team. Worse that he had gotten a pvc pipe to the head in the process.

"I mean, pretty sure I don't have a concussion boss." He tried to sidle out of the first aid chair, only to hiss softly as the disinfectant made contact with the cut just above his eyebrow. "Okay, maybe am a tad not fine..." He admitted sheepishly.

Susanoo snarled at the injured Minho, something that was quite rare to see, but it had just happened. Certainly, the demigod was not that fragile, none of the demigods in the fire team should be described as fragile; it was just that Susanoo's bad-temper, his fire chief's sense of responsibility, and his Japanese fatherly instinct decided to jump out all at once.

With the cotton balls of disinfectant and waterproof band-aids, Susanoo fixed the cuts on Minho's face. Still, those were just teensy tiny concerns.

"Let's get you to the hospital, can't kid with that inner bleeding."

"I'm fine----" He tried to say but then he was whisked away by another one of his men to the side while Susanoo went to get his vehicle.

"Seriously?" He couldn't help ask now, feeling quite silly with a bandage on his head and yet still dressed in his suit. "The fire isn't even completely out and we haven't cleared the building---" He tried to protest all the way to the hospital.

"I'm fine," He tried to say minutes later to the ER nurse only to be told he might have had a concussion and he needed to stay for observation.

"Quite right," Minho smile wasn't condescending but his usual easy-going smile, albeit a bit teasing now. He doesn't encroach the young woman's space, keeping a healthy distance. His arm was curled around a basket filled with his mid-week grocery run.

"But not to offend," He says gently, still all warm smiles. "I saw you struggling to get to the top shelf a good few minutes ago, so I was wondering if you'd like some assistance?" He didn't think it was polite to point out their height difference.

Such a good-vibe man was offering help free of charge, and there were cameras and staff in this supermarket. Despite the indirect statement that she was short, he was honest for speaking the truth. And so, she had a change of mind. Probably having a one-time gorgeous shopping assisstant was not a bad idea. Probably they could become friends, or at least grocery shopping buddies, who knows?

He peered at her phone after stepping closer. Confirming the item on her grocery list, he walks to the said shelf and easily fetches a box from among its brethren at the top shelf.
