hi ally, hope you’re having an amazing day! terribly sorry for asking this but I’m a little embarrassed to ask anyone else regarding the general use of kr fcs? i completely understand why creators would feel uncomfortable if rpers were to use their icons/gifs for topics/themes that are taboo or can be fetishising (i may not be east asian but I’m asian myself), but I wanted to ask if creators are generally okay if rpers were to use the icons/gifs for ‘normal’ or general threads? i've personally never been in krp nor have I used a kr fc before, and I would never to use icons/gifs for smut or taboo threads, but I just wanted to make sure that if I ever did use a kr fc in the future, I wouldn’t be upsetting or offending any creators… i hope this doesn’t come off as rude or offensive, sorry again for asking this! hope you have a lovely week ahead!
hi sweetheart, no need to apologize! using korean fcs for general rp is actually the intent of creators releasing resources for them. we want you to use our resources for your muses! at least, that's why i release them — seeing people using my gifs for their ocs is exciting and gratifying & it makes me happy. the divide happens when rp turns to fetishization and/or interalized racism, which goes for all fcs of color, so using the resources for their intended purpose is highly encouraged!

first, make all your words separate layers so you can move and rotate them individually with the free transform tool. you can group words like i did to add variety.
next create a new layer and make sure it's under all of your text layers.
once you have your empty layer, select the polygon lasso tool. you'll be making rough outlines around your words - they look best if they're not perfectly symmetrical.
click around the word until your rough rectangle shape is connected (i added a gray bg layer temporarily so i could see better, but that's completely optional).
right click in your canvas, select fill. in the popup, the only thing you need to change is the 'contents' drop down at the top.
click 'ok' and your shape should be filled. right click again to deselect and repeat until all the words have their own little backgrounds.

hello... i hope you're not annoyed by my asking but i've looked at your content for years but havent roleplayed in years and while i never joined any krps, i wanted to know why people often say do not use their content if theyre for krp? i swear that wasnt a thing until recentlyfdnkwnrfknrkfnrknenk
hi angel! not annoying at all, i promise. i personally don't want my content used in krps because my experience with them is that they fetishize korean people and culture. i understand that not every person in the krp community does this, but so many that i've interacted with do, so i'm not comfortable with my resources being used in that specific space.
this has honestly been an issue for a long time ( though it's only something i've included in my tou since i started giffing ) & this post explains a lot about why people generally don't want to be associated with krps.

this is a psa about someone in the rpc who goes by the name lindsay, though she's used various aliases past and present and they can also be found mentioned in the links below of previous posts made about her, but to make things easier here is what she has been known to use before: marie, river, taylor, A, L, V, J, P, K, M, R. based on the most recent rp that she attempted to open, the most current alias she was using is J.
now before I continue, I want to say that I have never written a psa before, so please bear with me. I'll do my best to include all necessary trigger warnings and all links and screenshots will be below the cut. If there are any triggers that need to be added, please do not hesitate to let me know!
to put it simply, lindsay is someone who voted for trump, supports maga and extreme conservative views - yet one of the fandoms that she wants to rp in is glee?? glee, though flawed, was a show about uplifting those different than everyone else, poc, lgbtq+, etc. make it make sense. she generally is always rping as quinn when she attempts to either join an rp or make one, usually sticking with dianna agron as the fc and she's always (wait for it) hetero! most recently though she tried to open a crossover rp for the vampire diaries and teen wolf. she's also been known to rp as real life celebs (ick) in hollywood rps. there's many fcs she's used her main after dianna agron is lili reinhart.
lindsay currently runs her personal blog: bxllisarioroleplays and here are just a few screenshots from her blog that shows just a small portion of who she is:

and then there's the most recent rpt blog that she was running, though it's since been deleted - quinnofrpt and again triggering topics on these posts, most of the asks are believed to have been sent to herself from herself but we do know that unfortunately there are some awful people out there in the rpc. first the proof that it was in fact her and then other screenshots to show her true colors and also including some replies on a post where someone tried to educate her though I am blacking out their name for their privacy:

and the following accounts are currently what I have blocked of hers so that I know they are hers whenever she changes the urls and tries to weasel her way back into the rpc either pretending to be someone else or claiming that she's "changed":
this may not be all of them, obviously people can create new accounts easily on tumblr but there's usually some easy tell-tale signs when one of her accounts pops up that it's her. she claims she's a big fan of the block button yet seems to constantly be trying to sneak her way back in with new blogs and aliases. now I want to stress that I did not make this psa for people to go and harass her on any of these accounts. don't send hate or anything - just BLOCK her.
