❛          i just feel like i should have a cool superhero name,   y’know ?          isn’t that like,  the whole schtick with the outfit,  and the catchphrase,  and the——     i could’ve had the human torch   !          is that considered stealing if he’s fictional ?          ❜          he sparks up a flame in the valley of his palm,  lets fingers close over it ‘til it extinguishes before alighting it again,  expression pensive.          ❛          is he fictional ?          who knows anymore ?          ❜

             truth be told, jessica knew she should just be grateful she’d survived the night - especially after she’d been informed that sam was the only other survivor. that doesn’t stop her guilt, in fact it does nothing but amplify it, the thoughts racing through her head that blamed her for everything that transpired. the stupid prank, that had been her idea, had lead to almost everyone’s death. sam’s light conversation that jessica could still hear somewhere to her left did little to keep her mind off it all.  does sam hate her too?it’s not like she could blame her if she did. green eyes glance over to the other blonde, she barely catches the end of her sentence. maybe it was an attempt to comfort them both, but it just sends chills down jessica’s spine. meeting everyone again in some form of an afterlife…? everyone she killed.
