I just discovered a new kin which is A Enderman from Minecraft who is like,more sentient than the other mobs but still cares for them deeply and breaks their heart when they have to protect themselves. Can you explain kin to me?
Kinning is relating to something on a physical / spiritual level, that you find comfort in portraying it. It’s most common to have memories of being a fictional character (fictionkin) or another species (otherkin)
Each person has their own experience of kinning. Some kin just one person/species while others kin dozens!
Fictionkin memories are usually different from the source material the character is from.
Sorry if this is confusing, it’ll really make sense if you experience it
I’m not the best at explaining these sorts of things, sorry! I’m sure other kin blogs will give you a better definition

hi! could i please have a moodboard for herobrine? i was the first human in the land and i lived in the woods in peace with the monsters who didnt bother me. i was rough and scruffy and suspicious of alex and steve when they spawned and hesitant to befriend them. steve called me feral jokingly once, and alex said i was an urchin. we were in a poly eventually.

hey again, its shorty!! sowwy i shouldve added details but i was a goof and forgot gdshgushdi. i was an enderman who spawned in a flower forest but absolutely fell in love with mushrooms and lived in a mushroom biome (in, you guessed it, a giant mushroom) and i had a farm full of mooshrooms!! esp one brown mooshroom named milk cap! i had a very autumny-cottagecore kinda aesthetic!! - short-enderman 🍄
