CALL ME BY YOUR NAME by André Aciman "just look me in the face, hold my gaze, and call me by your name." I finished this book nearly at midnight last night and almost burst out crying. The feeling it gave me was so strong, and so relatable, that reading the last few pages was impossible, yet so captivating that I couldn't stop to breathe. The whole book is poetic, in such a way that reaches my soul and speaks to my desire deep down, like a shot of medicine through my vein finding its way to my heart. It has the same vibe of Troye Sivan's music, which, for some time, I couldn't stop listening to, bestowing upon myself the blue, the sadness of what almost became, of what didn't, of what would have happen, of what wouldn't. Words cannot describe how good this book is, so I really recommend it to everyone, if you haven't read it yet, just like me, deliberately avoiding, knowing too well how i would feel after reading. I was so wrong to wait this long to read it. Trust me. It hurts, but it hurts well. "I'm like you," he said.
