YAY-OK !!!

monkey-fied YAY-OK design for fanfic purposes because I've lost control of my life. (well... he's more lemur-like.)

Apparently this show has had a bit of resurgence lately in the fandom (however ironic some of it may be. XP )

I'm not sure what spurred that on, but I started giving it a watch since one of my friends has been makings fics about it. I always knew about the show but never watched much of it.

Season 1 is decent, pretty typical gross-out humor for the era, but it does love to get graphic with the poop... I am legitimately rating each episode as I watch it so maybe I'll have a rec list in the future for anyone who wants it. XD (and wants to avoid the grosser parts lol)

YAY-OK carries the show imo, and it's probably safe to say he's the reason it's gotten attention again? XP He deserves the love to be fair.

But yeah.... this design was for a fic idea I have where YAY-OK gets to experience what it's like being a primate for real, fluff ensues, etc. Him wanting to be like the monkeys seems like something that wasn't carried as much through the rest of the show, so I wanted to explore that angle.

In my headcanon I like to imagine YAY-OK being more like a "tired older brother forced to take care of his younger sibs" to Gus and Wally, so I want to emphasize that too.
