First time I'm rereading a book. I read to many not so super good books in a row. I need something where I know it's good. So I took one of my favorite books. Started it yesterday evening and already halfway through
A little evening reading. The first book of the Disney Villains. I read the third one first because I didn't know. Thought it was okay know I wanted to understand better what was happening with the sisters but I can't say I like this book

When Sarah meets the mysterious Alex, she seizes the chance and starts a new life with him. Both are still marked by their recent relationships and are about to start over. Why not dare to do it together? But something is wrong in the small community of Burrington Stroke. Alex's wife was not only beautiful, but also loved and a perfect wife. Why did she go away? And why hasn't anyone heard from her since she left? Many in the village suspect Alex of knowing more about their whereabouts than he claims to be. But Sarah loves him and has no reason to distrust him, or does she? An abyss opens up in front of Sarah, which threatens her new love to be doomed

Opinion
I have many different opinions about the book. Positive as well as negative.
Let's start at the beginning. It took me to put myself into the characters.
Sarah was a little strange at first. Believed she was different. Then she gets to know Alex on vacation, speaks to him twice and has a very intimate encounter with him in the park and then decides to go to him to help him. I thought that was strange. It wasn't easy to get through the first 100 pages.
after moving in with him, even though everyone advised her not to, she should keep her relationship a secret with little explanation.
Alex didn't tell her about Genieve because the past doesn't matter. nevertheless, all the conversations they have are about them. Got a bit exhausting in the long run.
Sarah also learns from others that Alex was in jail and yet she trusts him 100%.
Strange things have also happened that were not properly explained. A scratch behind the wall which is labeled as a squirrel without further explanation. Genieve who suddenly appears in the mirror and then is gone again and a phone that screams and does not ring. It all seemed very inappropriate, as if it didn't belong in the book. It was always very short. If only two pages at all.
But the end of the book was pretty exciting. How she found out the real reason why Alex was in jail and the Genieve was far from perfect, not as everyone has always said. I would not have thought that she had an affair with Claudia's husband, her half-sister, and that the man killed her because of it. It was clear to me from the start that she was dead.
I found it hard how Claudia accused Sarah and Alex for everything that had happened. Also, the things that happened before Sarah. But she just wanted to run away. violent reaction but understandable.
I don't know exactly what the book should be. For a novel it could have been a little more. For a thriller too, and then the things I don't know why they were in the book at all.
On the whole, the book wasn't super good, but it wasn't super bad either.
Continue reading this after finishing two other books. I starting to like this book. After 100 pages. Don't like the protagonist much but I like the mother-in-law from the boyfriend or whatever he is.
Got the last book of Alice. Exiting to read it and a little scared because I didnt liked the second book so much and the first was just amazing and I dont know what expect from this one

I already started two of the new books I got but I started a third one. I honestly dont know why three books at once. Two books yes because one of the books is not really my thing at least what I can tell from the beginning.

Time to spend the last hours of the day with a lot of reading. That book is interesting. Not sure what's going on yet but I'm happy to read a book again that I seem to like
