t was going to made in desmos because it would be funny, and i used to draw in desmos, and i still use desmos like a maniac today! but alas, i never ended up finishing the desmos project then, and even the one i wanted to do this year! oh well! its more fun drawing her like this

daily interest : ya know? this kind of reminds me of the generic animated family sitcom artsyle. i liked the face and tried to expand on it... and give some depth to mimic's hair and proper proportions. kinda gave up on this. i forget there's usually like, a gap between the arm and body when you're arms are slack. something to keep in mind..

i never liked to use references all THAT much. i do use em obviously, but i like to try and do something different with em different posing and whatnot, so of course i pick an animal that's the least dynamic. i like deep sea marine life, chambered nautilus, picked here, are cool, ancient squids. we have this project for art where we draw an animal with a letter, but im sad i can't use custom fonts. oh well! more referencing it is...

daily interest : GEN 10 STARTERS (i just like the dog, i wish they had a tad more color to them) / felt obligated to draw these. completely forgot about the pokémon presents today. i used to be a lot bigger on pokémon. my favorite is mimikyu!
've wanted to do a thing for some time where i draw every pokémon, but i haven't due to: the amount, improper scaling, and unsatisfactory art styles... but i should just suck it up some time, right? when i was younger though, i had 4 sketchbooks where i drew the first 848 just by copying the ref lol. when i was like 7 or something
