I had hopes we'de witness a Katseye renaissence after this teaser because it did seem very promising and well directed, evb was in some sort of costume and it was really giving murder mystery, but they used all of the good scenes in the teasers rlly.

It was supposed to be a murder mistery of sorts, but there was no clear plot like Gabriela had. (wich I think is what they're trying to do, rip off their prime to try to get the same mainstream sucess they got before. They did this with Gnarly (internet girl, pinky up, iconic by mistake), and now they're doing it again with Gabriela for the next year I fear.)

Lara is a plumber. What is the objective of that? When does that play into the story? (It doesn't), it's just there for fan service. Same with Sophia crossdressing, the red wigs (what's the purpose of them?? No explanation! Cuz there's none!), Daniela and that ring, the whole Megan and Yoonchae thing and the Demi Moore cameo. I understand leaving things open for fans to theorize upon, but this has NO context and no story!! 😭 it's literally just there for the visuals.

Feels like pretty little liars randomly throwing plot points they never explained and that contradicted canon just to appear more mysterious and one step ahead of the viewers.

Also what's their team obcession with having them half naked?? I understand some members want to be sexy n shit but it's in every comeback to a point where's unecessary and feels forced.

As mid as a song may be, we can usually trust that for katseye, at least the choreo will be good.

I get that it has to be more simple because it's a song with more vocals and they gotta be able to sing, but the same gesture during almost all of the most important part of the song?? The vibe wasn't there alredy but they killed it with this 😭 (derogatory).

Yes they could've come up with a choreo that represented the song and was manageable to do while singing without compromising the rhythim and dynamic of it. Heavy serenade's an example!
