you bring up the treatment & scarcity of POC characters on murdoch mysteries and people say “oh but it’s historically accurate!! statistically there werent as many black people in these types of careers” and then the main character gets framed for murder like 3 separate times in under 5 years……..buddy

yall ever think about how Llewellyn Watts dedicated his entire life to becoming a detective with the sole purpose of protecting those he loved & finding his sister, only to lose his brothers & be rejected by the only blood family he had left. cause uhhh not to be that bitch or anything, but I think focusing on him struggling to figure out his own passions & desires & interests after moulding himself into what he thought others needed him to be for so many years would be much more compelling than Gay Man Faces Unrelenting Homophobia In The Early 1900s
