Going on a Gummy Bear Hunt

Nearly every day, someone leaves gummy bears on the fence by the creek. This has been going on for at least 7 years. I have decided to document this occurrence.

Call me Gummy (They/It)! I am a fan of gummy bears and cryptids. I have often found it strange that someone has been leaving gummy bears on this fence for so long. I have no idea who has been doing it. I've been told this has been happening for a lot longer than when I first found them. I find it quite amusing, and it has cheered me up on many a bad day. So I thought I should share this with the world!

I'm honestly fine if I never learn who started this, or if it is even the same person doing it now. The Bringer of Gummy Bears has become a cryptid in my mind, and I like that!

On days when I find no Bears, I will instead share pictures of Trevor the Tree Man! I have no idea how he got there either. He is a bit... unsettling at times, but I think he's fun!

If you find any gummy bears in the wild, or stumble across this very fence, please send some photos my way! Sometimes the gummy bears are taken (or thrown into the creek) before i can find them, and I would also love to see the strange or mundane places they can be found in other areas of the universe. And if you ever meet Trevor, say hello! He's nice if you are!

No gummy bears today. Instead, I saw some ducks and a squirrel!

The squirrel is a bit hard to see, but it has its little eye poking out of the hole! It's probably been eating some of the gummy bears. That might explain why I haven't seen them lately. I work during the day so I'm not able to check until the evening. I'll try to head out sooner on the weekends so I can see them before they get devoured.

There was also a Mama Mallard with 3 little ducklings, but I wasn't able to get a photo of them.

I also made sure to say hello to Trevor!

Trevor also wanted to get a photo of him with the duck. I did my best to appease him. The duck was hidden among the foliage so it was a bit tricky.

Trevor seemed pleased with the photo, so I think I did well enough!

Here's hoping I'll have better luck tomorrow.

And remember! Always treat your surroundings with care! There was some trash on the ground nearby, and that's no good! We only have one planet, so we must treat it with kindness. Make sure to clean up after yourself!

I was out late with some friends, so it was already dark out before I could check. I drove by on my way home, and from what I could make out in the darkness I believe I can say this:

No. No gummy bears.

And no Trevor today either. He gets a little... weird at night.

I'll see if I have a chance to check tomorrow. Until then, stay tuned!
