If you have read enough shoujo manga, specially those of the 90s, you know there’s one popular type of male lead who is the problematic overbearing asshole delinquent who is “wild”, rude and unpredictable to mostly everyone but has a soft spot for the female protagonist who is the opposite of him despite bullying or negging her sometimes. He wouldn’t easily show that soft spot because of his pride, though. Still have some considerably chill and jovial moments when they soften up, and is ardently protective and devoted to the main character.

i made a timeline for adhiyan, and what he looked like over the years! for a bit of context, up until the mid 1500s he represented the southern region of india, and after that, he represented the entire subcontinent.
