4.13.19 // I had one of my worst panic attacks yesterday, & just a terrible week overall. I escaped to the beach as it was hitting me then, I promised myself that I would take my half day off for self-care today: a day of coffee at my favorite shop, natural light, & quiet solitude time. (Also yes, I did end up studying for Virology- I somehow focus a lot better when I’m in a bad-ish place. I guess I need a good distraction from my thoughts). Happier Saturday. ✨

job apps are not! my fave! new plan: start a business fixing & editing all of the websites i’ve come across while checking out companies. if i have to read through another ‘about us’ page that is: a) grammatically incorrect and b) full of typos, i will absolutely scream

picnic days ✨

today was such a great day! my team won a pitch contest and we won a huge box of ferrero rocher. then, i got an email inquiring about an interview for my position as a freelance writer under an online magazine company. if i successfully get that job, i will be having two jobs on top of school! i rewarded myself with going to hot tomato with my close friend and we had some good medium rare steak!!!! my first semester is over soon and i’m gonna miss my classmates ;,(

its weird to think about how many places I’ve forced myself to study while traveling; not even a quick, impromptu road trip can stop me! as much as I preach the importance of taking breaks (because you need them), sometimes you just can’t afford to stop the hustle. obviously I can’t speak for everyone, but I think that if you really need to get shit done, you’ll make time for it; no excuses!
