I deserve sunshine.
my name is Mildatay, some people call me William or Milda.
I am Aroace and Genderfluid.
I struggle with suicidal thoughts.
I support the LGBTQIA+ community.
I do NOT support ICE, MAGA, or Trump.
I believe that being unique and different is beautiful.
I'm schizophrenic and I have autism (high functioning).
Now. Tell me, do I still deserve sunshine?
Yes. Yes I do.
I may be different from you, but I could be anyone and anywhere. I could be your neighbor, your best friend, someone you see going to work everyday, anyone. And you would never know these things about me unless I told you.
Why is it that when before you know me, I deserve sunshine, but when you know the real me, I do not? Who am I hurting? I am still the person you knew before. I am still your neighbor, your best friend, someone you see going to work everyday, I'm still that person. But now I don't deserve sunshine?
I deserve sunshine.
You deserve sunshine.
We all deserve sunshine.
And if you believe otherwise, go grab an eraser and fix your answer.
I'd also like to add.
This can count for anyone, no matter who you are, as long as you are sticking to the fact that everyone deserves sunshine.
You could be an office worker, unemployed, still in school, anything.
You could be a minor, an adult, elderly.
You could be of any race or color.
You could be of any sexuality.
You could be of any religion.
And yet, somewhere deep down,
You still deserve sunshine.
