I have a small WIP fic of a ballroom scene on ao3 with them, it’s cringe as shit so yall ain’t getting it, none of yall catching me lacking 🤑✌️
BUTTT I have some little crumbs ready of the AU hehe
Such asssssss Bendy’s backstory :P
At first I wanted to make Bendy like some super posh fancy pants guy when he’s not the phantom thief, but then I had a better thought and made him a loser that life kicked in the ass a lot. He was a lad who had potential to be the worlds greatest STAR, he could do it all and could easily charm anyone,
But what good can charm and a couple of moves do when all they see is a pair of horns you were born with. They don’t see a STAR. They see a demon.
He couldn’t get by at all in the entertainment industry, and he’d get turned down constantly by multiple jobs, only got himself a gig as a mechanic in a run down town.
He fell into deep depression, stopped showing up even for his only job, wanting to rot away forever in his room,
Maybe they’d never even find his body, maybe they’d only find out when they come in to evict him, only to be met with his worthless body
Maybe they’d mourn him? Or maybe they’d just throw him away just like a burnt up
One day however, he was at an event, called in for fixing some lights at the corner of the building venue. The event was about showcasing the newest addition to some rich man’s collection of gems that were ripped away from poor owners who just wanted to keep the last of their things.
Bendy was left alone in the corner of the venue, alone, ignored barely even acknowledged for fixing their goddamn lights.
Then….he was left alone……with the gem.
He was gonna leave, he swore,
If they weren’t willing to acknowledge his talents,…
Maybe they’d acknowledge him for who he truly is.
He left the event that day, hands filled with treasures of the rich man.
Ripped from his hands, just like how he ripped them from the poor.
Newspapers, billboards, even the radio screamed his name. Well they screamed the Inkwell Bandit’s name.
Was it really so bad though? They all finally paid attention to HIM.
All eyes were finally on HIM.
He knew how horrible he was, he knew he wasn’t any better than those rich folks. But he couldn’t help crave desperately for their looks, their attention, THEIR EYES.
He got off a high feeling their hateful looks on him, and never wanted to come back down, it felt just too good.
And that’s how he had a new gig going on for him, “The Inkwell Bandit”
