This was 3 minutes ago and I’m still laughing quietly to myself.

Have you ever felt like you were missing something in your life? Missing your purpose, missing your worth? Have you ever felt like you weren’t strong enough to carry on? Giving all you can, but it’s not enough? You try to find things that make you happy, you do the things that make you happy. But something is still missing. You feel like you are at the peak of all you’ve ever wanted, But something is missing. Have you ever felt like you knew your purpose, but one small spark of uncertainty tears it away? Even for just one speck of time? You feel like you’re nothing, you feel like you don’t have a home. You feel like there’s still something to find. You feel homeless, lost, a gypsy, an endlessly wandering spirit, Still uncertain of what it even is you are looking for. These are the thoughts going through my mind as I’m taking this photo. You must first find your purpose. And if you think you know your purpose—don’t let those clouds of doubt fool you into thinking otherwise until you’re there. We all have those moments of doubt—in a relationship, in a job, in life, and why we’re all meant to be here in the first place. We all have those desolate feelings. It’s a scary thing; all you ever thought you wanted is gone, even for just that speck of time in your life. And emptiness surrounds your mind. But, like with all things, it’s one small step at a time. Have you had that hard discussion yet? Have you spent time toward your goals in a while? Have you taken time to think, to pray? Have you gotten insight from others? Have you had human connection? How far are you from your dreams? And, the best question you can ask yourself is, if you think you know your purpose, who in your life knows what it is, and who truly believes in you? And if the only person that currently knows about your purpose in life is yourself, spread the word, if you are feeling uncertain. Talk to friends. Talk to strangers. Make connections. Give hope and love wherever you may go. It’s sometimes a rocky road walking alone, but trust, that there are angels in disguise all around to help you meet your destination.
