Reflecting Light

What brings me comfort in all the noise of the suffering world is looking up at the stars.

In a pool of astral bodies, I remember where I come from.

We are a reflection of this enchanting chaotic universe, yet in the mess of it all there is balance that gives us life.

That can only be filled by tears of hopeless and despair.

Isolation is a void so loud no one but I can hear.

A noise so piercing, death seems like the better outcome.

A pain so great

My only friends are mistrust, loneliness and sorrow

The one promise I can trust to be true is that they’ll be there for me tomorrow.

Not even love from another can be as strong and dominant.

Who is there to befriend, when all you see are eyes of lies.

Who will be there to catch my fall,
