Marriage in bp and ADHD
When I tell my spouse I have rejection sensitive dysphoria and I feel serious emotional trauma he tells me itās about my perception and just changed my perception so I feel rejected all over again then in the same day I try to make a sexual advance and he shots me down cuz he worked all day the next morning I put the foil in the box wrong....so now thanks to his bp and my rsd we are fighting over the fact that the foil was in wrong and we have spent so much time screaming Iām crying and I feel like I just am worthless and heās mad because I got upset cuz he said fuck it when the foil rolled off the box

Females most commonly have inattentive ADHD (But often go undiagnosed)
Hyperactive ADHD is most commonly found in children and males.
Combination type is thought to be about equal to both male and females, but has most commonly been found in males (as a result of testing being done primarily on boys)
People with ADHD are valid and we should stop referring to ADHD as a quirk or a fun disorder
The term inattentive ADHD has actually been around since 1987!
People with ADHD are on average about 3 years behind developmentally in some areas of the brain, but are expected to catch up to non-ADHD peers in their early 20s
RSD is believed to be linked to a smaller amygdala and thinner prefrontal cortex
Almost 100% of ADHD patients are believed to have experienced symptoms of RSD, but donāt even realize RSD is a thing
About 50% of people in court mandated anger management have previously undiagnosed ADHD
RSD can be internalized or externaized. Internalized makes a patient anxious, depressed, and sometimes even suicidal. An externaized response can be described as an āinstantaneous rageā
RSD used to be misdiagnosed as rapidly cycling bipolar disorder.
ADHD
People know I talk a lot but nobody knows I donāt tell them everything I keep so much in yet I can never shut up. My anxiety has me spewing afraid of quiet. My depression tells me I am hated for it. No one wants to hear me talk. They all think Iām vain and seek attention know one knows that outside validation is the only way I feel loved because I donāt love myself. I know I should I have so much I have achieved so much yet Iām not good enough for my own mind. I should do more I should be more. I have ADHD/ depression/ anxiety some days I canāt control my mind. Itās hell inside. Nothing works against each other they work together to make me miserable my depression tells me I am worthless my anxiety tells me all the reasons why and my adhd runs on tangents about things I should have done to be better I know people see adhd and think hyper but Iām exhausted I honestly just
want to lay in bed all day but that is lazy I lose interest in things so fast I am never great at anything because I lose interest before I have mastered anything I wonder what a normal brain would be but Iām just not normal
with adhd thereās a high chance that if i donāt do the thing that comes to my mind immediately, iāll never do it. most likely because i instantly forget about it again
the difference between laziness and executive dysfunction
Laziness:Ā āThereās a thing I have to do, but I donāt wanna do it, so Iām choosing to go and do other things instead. The thing may cause me stress in the future, but for the time being I donāt really care about itā

Time blindness is the weirdest aspect of executive dysfunction and so weird as an experience to live with. Itās like you see the clock, the clock says 3pm, you look at the clock again and itās 3:02, then 3:05, and then you look again and itās 8pm and WHAT THE FUCK.
You donāt even need hyperfocus. But hyperfocus is like the Warp Speed:tm: version cause when that hits, itās 3pm and then itās the next day and why is the sun rising and when did i last eat and oh god i need to use the bathroom. And oh, also, youāre EXHAUSTED. The act of your brain tunnel visioning on something drains you (but thatās another topic).
Time blindness isā¦. having the general knowledge that today is Wednesday, and you need to do something on Thursday. Thursday is logically tomorrow, but the mysterious void of time is likeĀ āthatās like next week or something.āĀ Itās knowing you have to do something in three weeks on the 21st. And as the days creep closer, the 21st is stuck in a constant state of still being 3 weeks away, despite the fact itās now tomorrow.
Itās wild. ADHD is literally living in a constant state ofĀ āThere is Now. And there is Later.ā and thereās no in between; no dates, no times; no hours, weeks, or months. Itās just Now and Later, and oh god why is is X oāclock already!? Edit: I added some links to info and a bit more explanation here!
