Trust in the Lord at all seasons, remember this life is temporary, being financially successful in this life isn’t the our ultimate goal, nothing wrong with being rich or being poor, in this life our ultimate goal is to be a holy and faithful servant of the Lord. They are times when it feels like God isn’t with us and we are on our own, but we forget that thou we walk through the valley of the shadow of death the Lord is with us, and just because you don’t feel that the Lord is with you that doesn’t mean that He isn’t, this is when have trust God instead of your feeling or environment. God has given me victory in many battles. Some battles were the results of my actions while others came simply by me being a child of God. Each of those battles God gave me the ability to withstand the storm and fight. Then, it’s the battle that comes with raising your children to be godly in today's world. Now, this is a battle that I have to turn over to God every time. It’s a battle that is so intense that flesh can rise up in the midst of it and cause you to doubt everything you know about the power of God. It will cause you to doubt his power to change and transform. My encouragement today is for all parents that are training your children in the way they SHOULD go, but meeting nothing but the opposition- keep on going. Don’t stop believing and certainly don't stop interceding on behalf of your children. It doesn’t matter what it looks like now, the devil will not have what belongs to God. Speak life over your children and believe that they shall be who God says they are to be. Our job as parents is to correct, show, equip, and lead them to Christ. Trust God to do the rest. Let's read Acts 1:1-19 together. If he could transform the likes of Paul, surely he can transform our children! Just trust him; I know I have to!
