Mikado's voice is still nervous as he steps gingerly into the tent after her. The tent is small, to be sure. There's barely enough room to sit side by side without having their knees touch. His face flushes again an awkward shade of pink as he sidesteps the thought of sleeping inside the tent with a girl - not that he'd do anything (he's rather harmless), but still the thought was sort of nervewracking.
He's a total newbie to this sort of stuff, Mikado is. Brushing back a strand of black-blue hair, he settles down on the sleeping bag he'd unfurled on one side of the tent. "Camping is fun," the boy says casually with a light smile. "I haven't gone camping since ... I was a kid. I don't even remember much of it.. aha ... "
The truth is that camping makes him incredibly nervous. Out in the woods, with animals looming in the dark, how could anybody camp without dying of fright?! Especially bears. The thought of bears makes his blood run cold. Bears were so big. One swat of their paw and he'd go flying against a tree.. Bears, man...
With a cough, he demolishes any thoughts of furry round-eared creatures and tilts his head at her. "Do you like camping, Tomoko-san? Marshmallow roasting and spooky stories and all that." Mikado smiles. "Perhaps you have more experience in it than me."
