unnecessary info about me: i'm leo, i use he/him, english it's not my first language so maybe some things i writte come out weird. This is a side blog of my (kinda inactive) art account, here i'll freely rant about fanfiction, headcanons, character dynamics, etc
i mostly talk about pandarose (mihaly/jack rose), i like some other ships too but they are my main focus most of the time

I like thinking abt how many opposites Jack and Wanderlust have
Jack (likely) matured quickly where Wander is rather immature
Jack is in a proper suit with the only accessory being a small blemish (the little golden feather thing) and the large boa, where Wander has a lot less restricted outfit with a lot more accessories (his belts [or belt and belt chain?], his crown, his cape)
Jack (likely) doesn't wish to be associated with his parents, where Wanderlust wants to make his parents proud
I like thinking about stuff like these, it's fun :)
YESS. I love this subject. They have so many parallels, so different but at the same time they kind of live the same situation of having to live up to a parent's expectation. And if you think about it, I’ve seen people interpret Jack as a sort of prince too, like, they’re so alike in exact opposites these parallels drive me insane because there’s no way they’re not intentional
And if you interpret the map Treasure as Night Swan showing Jack what he could do if he lived up to his full potential and power, that's literally The Traveler's ability to clone himself. An ability Wanderlust did not inherit...

Liv is Jack’s sister? How did that happen?
Well! In my canon Liv is the daughter of Cygnus and Leda. She has a twin sister, Jen, who is the coach for ‘Follow the leader’. How did it happen? At first this concept of Liv and Jack being related came from someone who (sadly) is no longer in this fandom, I really like the idea that supposedly Cygnus being Liv’s father he was the one who put her in the time-space clock tower, that’s really sad but it IS something I see him doing… and taking a bit of inspiration of the myth of Leda and Cygnus (I’m no expert in the subject but hear me out) I do see possible that Liv and Jen were a product of Cygnus seduction.
About that, I do think when Leda found out she was pregnant with Liv and Jen she was happy, but then as she was corrupted by her power she stopped seeing her children as people and started seeing them as tool to be used in her grand scheme, Jen (like you can see in the follow the leader background) was the one who complied Night Swan and was entrusted with working at the Cygnus factories as a sort of authority figure. Liv on the other hand was the one who rebelled against her mother. I do think she was put in the tower to contain her as being the daughter of Night Swan and Cygnus would make her potentially really powerful, that’s why she’s there, so she wouldn’t ruin the plan.
And honestly I don’t think she ever saw them in particular as people, she might have been happy to have the twins but she was more delighted to have more pawns in her game and gradually started to put in practice those beliefs
pandarose is when you have a friendship breakup so bad hearing their name makes you want to throw up

if taking off your glove symbolizes intimacy what does that mean for coaches who have a fingerless glove. just a thought

I think so too! But also there's a possibility of Jack being homeschooled for a long period of time. But it would be more fun if they went to school together

I do see them both singing it, bc there are parts that are so wander but also ones that are SO jack... i think it fits in both of their perspectives in different ways
