I wanted to share this piece with you. It might look like he's at a dead end, but I think it's actually a very optimistic illustration.

Looking back into my illustrations I think I can trace an element that seems to appear often: I just love drawing ruins. Something that isn't there anymore but haven't completely vanished, like a clue that's still there for those whose eyes are sharp enough to notice. Vestiges from another time, lives preceding our own. Maybe it's a projection of my fascination with trying to mentally reconstructing them or my obsession with fixing broken stuff, but I just like the image of people wandering around them, exploring. I imagine it as a silent scene, neutral weather, just like in dreams. Everything is happening inside the person who walks around them.

Sometimes images come to me as fully formed scenes that I don't completely understand, so I just translate it into an illustration without trying to get what does it mean or where did it came from.

Anyway, this is an illustration I did after listening on repeat The Car by Arctic Monkeys, I've been living inside that record for a whole month now.

I felt like drawing architecture and this popped up in my head.

What you create is valid even if no one sees it, even if the algorithm doesn't show it to anyone else and even if the rats are eating the canvas. It doesn't even have to be valid, it can just be.

Hola Isa! Perdona, acabo de ver tu pregunta. Trabajo casi siempre en Photoshop, es muy versátil y te permite hacer incluso pequeñas animaciones. Pero de vez en cuando trabajo también con Clip Studio.
