Fine dining. ILUSTRADO style. Haha. My good friend, Chime and I gave ourselves some major pampering by splurging on this delicious lunch last Saturday,Dec.10 at ILUSTRADO, this wonderful best-kept secret of a Spanish restaurant in Intramuros, Manila. I had the Cream Dory with Fresh Pasta in tomato sauce(2nd photo) while Chime had Herbed Chicken with Pesto Sauce. Oh yeah, and I had Cream of Mushroom and Lobster Bisque in tomato for Chime as starter soups before said entrees . And the super yummy desserts found here, Strawberry Parfait for me and Crepes Intramuros with assorted fruits for Chime left us rubbing our stomachs cause we never felt soo full ever. Haha. Their fresh Dalandan and Calamansi juices were even outstanding. Hahaha. Foodie Heaven alright! And the perfect pre-birthday celebration for my buddy, Chime!

Saw this post on Pitchfork's Insta and how I wish this Indie Rock(the type of music I love the most) Roadtrip will roll into my city, but that will forever remain a pipe dream. Haha. When will one of my all time fave bands ever, Weezer, come to Cebu along with my other fave indie rock bands Modest Mouse(On top of Float On being my fight song, I remember wanting to covet very badly this Modest Mouse band Tshirt I saw on Maggie Grace in an article of her Vogue, hehe), Spoon, and Future Islands. All this wishing to see my fave indie rock bands has stemmed after learning about the Wanderland Musicfest last weekend in Manila. 😍 Dashboard Confessional(Chris Carrabba was raving about it in his Insta) and Phoenix were the main acts at this year's Wanderland and other foreign artists like Carly Rae Jepsen along with local indie artists.
