I’m tired of the nights where sleep isn’t an option. The nights where I stare at my phone as if the answer to all my questions is going to appear next to the low storage notifications. I’m tired of the inconsistency from me and from the people around me who all seem to be only temporary characters on the failing show that is my life. I’m tired of living life with small bursts of passion and getting subsequently depressed after. I’m tired of floating between moments that I won’t remember when I’m thirty. I’m tired of being weighed down with anxiety about the future in a country that seems future less. I’m tired of living life on a day to day basis with my only stasis being sleep, which I seem to get less of as I grow older. I want to wake thirty next to the love of my life with this being a distant memory. Mostly I want the stability that comes with permanence and for trump not to be the next president of the United States.
