Crow on a zebra crossing took me about 7 hours to complete. It’s a play on how nature is often the one highlighted in photographs and art, and I decided to do the opposite by only using colour for the yellow road markings. It messes with perspective and shadows, which gives the piece a surreal look. Also, a reference to the beatles!

California quails are small ground dwelling birds that live primarily in western North America. They are popular game birds that can also be kept as pets under certain restrictions. They have a conservation status of Least Concern.
