Hi, Michael Morgan here again writing about my travels for wetravel.org.

In today's article I will be talking of my travels to the moon. I'm sure most of you have heard of it,  many of you may have seen it also, you may know it as the white shiny thing that occasionally comes out at night, this is actually caused by 'The sun's light reflecting off the moon' as my instructor Mr. Frisby told me. 

It all started about a month ago when I made a tweet on twitter as many twits do and said of how amazing it would be to go  to the moon, how lovely it would be to have a picnic there. I didn't expect this silly tweet to go anywhere but, before I knew it, I was approached by John Balloon who told me of Balloon travel organization. It turns out they would take me to the moon in exchange for only this article and £50,000, what a deal!

So how did I get there you ask, well funnily enough as John Balloon said 'Don't worry, it won't be by balloon travel' this is one of the clever witty things I've come to expect of Mr. Balloon, I mean, who would come up with that? We actually went via a plane to the rocket site, where we caught our flight into space at around 1 in the afternoon. We then begun out journey into the unknown, or well ,at least not that known. This was when I was introduced to Frisby who was our instructor. An old man who knew all about space and the moon. He'll answer any question (including the silly ones by some silly people...)

Talking of silly people, on my trip, I was accompanied by many other people. They were all very passionate about the moon, one even said, 'I've been waiting for this since I was born.' What an inspiration. I almost felt out of place among these people. I like the moon but I don't obsess about it.

When we were actually there I was exhilarated. I was nervous from the start which made it ever so much more exciting. The views were immaculate and the locals were friendly. As I looked down upon the earth from the bouncy moon surface I was amazed and knew I spent my holiday well.
