Gutted and shattered, Alone I stand

My grief being caressed by your cold hand.

In an eternally still silence i weep

Beholding your absence, oh eternal sleep.

For now I chase the light I once saw,

Hoping for the darkness to slowly withdraw.

Chased by your daunting memories I run,

Where oh where can i find my sun.

For we had a doomed and forsaken bond,

Of which my soul was strangely fond.

It dragged me into the realm of desire

To sense our heat midst embers of fire.

With shattered dreams so full is my heart

I am starting to get used to being apart.

My sorrow strikes thy wretched shore

Oh! how fast the time flew

For hours seemed like

A minute with you.

Sharing my frights, unveiling my fears,

For dread seemed like

A hush with you.

Heavy eyelids and broken dreams

For war seemed like

Peace with you.

I imagined, an immortal love

But now

All that remains

Sun starts setting, and as I linger in dusky hues

Will you come, and for the last time,

Hold my hand?

Night is falling, and as the black colours the green

Will you come, and for the last time, 

Be my moon?

Breathing my last, and as the petals of life shiver,

Will you come, and for the last time, 

Kiss my soul?

Hearts are mourning, and as blue tears surround me,

Will you come, and for the last time,

Stare at me,

You were the memories 

captured in my diary.

You were the poetic lines 

inscribed in my diary.

You were the indelible ink

uniting us in my diary.

You were the parched rose,

well preserved in the pages of my diary. 

You were the aroma

wandering every page of my diary.

Without you its nothing,
