Mikey is definitely the type to brag to everyone how amazing cuddling you is just because he knows you’re all his

Michael wouldn’t be able to resist cuddling and when he wanted it he would give you the cutest puppy eyes / pout until you said yes

8 days of 5sos Christmas: Day 1

Pairing: Reader x Michael Clifford

Summary: Decorating for Christmas with Michael and the pups by your side

Authors Notes: I’ve been really excited to start this Christmas series and I hope you’re all excited to read the Imagines I put out!

“Michael!” You yell from the living room. You were sitting on the couch while Michael was gaming, looking through Pinterest at Christmas decoration ideas.

This was your absolute favorite time of year. Everyone was just so happy and you couldn’t be happier to spend the holidays with no other than your boyfriend, Michael.

“Whats up?” Michael asks, while walking into the living room by you to see you snuggled up with the dogs on the couch.

“We need a Christmas tree... and lights!” You say while showing him a picture on your phone. You loved decorating for the holidays especially as Michael always went overboard on decorations with you.

It was always the best to decorate for Christmas with Michael, while listening to music and singing together.

You see Michael nod. “Alright, but why not the one from last year?” Michael asks and you let out a giggle.

“Because Michael the tree from last year isn’t a real one! want a real one this year!” You say excited.

Michael smiles seeing how happy you got over something as small as getting a Christmas tree together.

“Alright well then get ready so we can go get one!” Michael exclaimed, letting out a small giggle at your sweater and leggings knowing you’d be hot soon in the LA sun, even during Christmas time.

Of course following what Michael said, you got up and got ready, and you both drove to the closest place you could pick a tree out at.

You both could spend hours in the Christmas tree farm, looking at different sized trees, different shaped trees, you just wanted to have the perfect tree for Christmas.

After hours of looking you finally smiled at Michael. “I like this one!” You say happily and Michael smiles

“Me too, its perfect” He says. After getting someone to help you, and picking out some decorations you both finally head home.

“It’s finally starting to feel like Christmas!” You exclaim, more than happy to be decorating for the Holidays.

“I know, I love this time of year” Michael smiles, and you both soon arrive home again.

After you both taking multiple trips back and forth from the car into the house, you both finally got everything inside.

“Think we went overboard?” Michael giggles seeing you guys definitely bought too much.

“Definitely not we needed all this!” You giggle, definitely knowing he was right about buying too much.

“Well lets get to decorating then!” Michael says, grabbing some of the boxes of decorations.

Starting with Christmas lights you both pulled them out of the boxes, walking outside. “How are we gonna reach?” You question definitely knowing you both were too short.

“Here” Michael smiles, leaning down allowing you to climb onto his shoulders. “Now put the lights up” he laughs holding onto your legs.

“Are you sure you won’t drop me?” You giggle, placing the lights along the roof with hooks.

“I haven’t yet..” he laughs holding onto you tighter just incase. Soon enough you both finish the outside lights so next was the inside ones.

After walking back inside you look around making mental notes of what you wanted to decorate.

“I have an idea” Michael smirks as he comes up to you wrapping you in lights.

“You know Michael I can’t finish the house now, unwrap me!” You laugh unable to move due to the lights.

“But it’s more fun this way!” He smiles, taking a picture at how adorable you looked.

“No more pictures come on!” You say, taking the lights off of yourself with a laugh. After putting the lights around the fireplace along with some ribbon you look up at Michael.

“What next?” You question, not sure what to do next.

“Can we do the tree now?!” Michael says with a small laugh. You nod in agreement knowing after the tree all you had were some small decorations left.

Michael sits down on the floor to start to put the stand together for the tree as you watched in awe. You could definitely tell he was really excited about doing this with you.

This was probably your guys favorite thing to do together. It was always the most fun time with Michael.

“Done!” Michael smiled up at you , being proud of his work, though it was just the stand.

“Well now we have to put the tree on it and one things for sure I’m not getting spiders on me so thats on you” you giggle following Michael as he goes to get it and bring it inside.

Once the tree is set on the stand you both step back. “Lights, ornaments, and a star” you think out loud, of what still needs to be done.

After grabbing the boxes you start wrapping the lights around the tree, of course with Michael’s help to reach the top.

The same goes for the ornaments as you both place them all around the tree.

“One last thing” you smiled, grabbing the tree star and trying to reach. “Mikey im too short pick me up!” You mention, making him laugh as he picks you up for a second time, allowing you to put the star on.

“It looks so pretty!” You say in awe of your guys work.

It finally was starting to feel like the holiday season. “Wanna watch movies now?” Michael suggests, sitting down on the couch as you follow.

“Yes!” You say cuddling up to Michael and throwing some blankets over you two. The dogs move to jump on your guys’ laps as Michael turns on some Christmas movies.

This soon ends up with you falling asleep in eachothers arms, together.

You were currently cleaning your house to get ready for later in the day. Calum had mentioned earlier that day that he would be stopping over to hang out. Little did he mention he was bringing all the boys.

Although you had no problem with the boys, the problem was that Luke was going to be there. You and Luke had dated for around 8 months before you broke up.

It would have been alright but you and Luke happened to end on bad terms. The memories flooded back of the day that everything happened.

Luke had came home drunker than ever that night stumbling through the door. Obvious messed up hair, and marks on his neck led you to fear what happened at the party he was at.

You knew it wasn’t intentional because Luke wasn’t that type of person, but regardless it happened. Screaming and crying eventually led to you leaving, and move in with Calum till you got back on your feet again.

That day you so badly wanted to forgive Luke for his actions. You wanted to spend the rest of your life with him but you physically couldn’t bring yourself to forgive him.

Seeing him daily ever since then was a struggle. Calum was your best friend since day one which obviously meant seeing him a lot, but of course seeing Luke came with that too.

Him having hard feelings against you, and you feeling the same way to him did not help. You felt yourself shake your head bringing you out of your thoughts as you continued to clean up.

The sound of your front door making your head turn, as you see Calum walk with in the boys. You definitely knew it was Calum as he was the only one with a key to your house.

“Luke please just come on” you hear Calum say as he walks in. Calum knew Luke didn’t want to see you because the fact Luke still loved you. It hurt him that you could just up and walk out the way you did that day. So, his only outlet was to be mad at you in hopes it would cover his feelings for you.

“Hi cal” You say quietly finishing cleaning up. The boys walk in and say their hellos as you all sit on the couch. Calum knew you were staying quiet because of Luke.

Ever since your breakup happened, Calum wanted you to make up with Luke. It killed him to see his best friends argue every time they were together. It meant a lot to him to try and get you both to at least be friends.

Calum whispered something to Ashton and Michael, before the three of them got up and left the room leaving you and Luke alone. “Why don’t you go with them” You mumble looking at Luke. You see him shrug making you roll your eyes.

You were hoping to talk to him as little as possible just like any other day. You weren’t ready to talk to him just yet or figure things out. You were still mad over everything that happened.

“you don’t have to be all mad at me for no reason you know” Luke said with a small crack in his voice. He knew it hurt both of you from what happened but neither of you wanted to admit that you missed each other. 

“you hurt me that’s a good enough reason to be upset” You said crossing your arms, very obviously upset. Before Luke could say anything you spoke again “I didn’t do anything to deserve it”.

Calum overhearing the conversation walked back into the room and brought you into the kitchen by him and the rest of the boys. “can’t you forgive him? I can’t see my best friends fight every day” Calum mentioned with a sigh.

“Calum it isn’t that simple” You speak with a sigh. “I wish I could forgive him but he hurt me and every day he’s mad at me for it... I don’t get it” You continue looking down.

“You both need to tell each other your feelings instead of being angry at each other every day” Ashton suggested, seeing Calum and Michael nod in agreeance.

“anger just makes it worse” Calum spoke. You nodded knowing he was probably right. Calum was always the best person to get advice from as he knew the right things to say to get some sense into you.

“Just try and like each other for tonight” Calum continued, while grabbing a drink from your fridge. You and the boys walked back into the living room by Luke, and Calum handing him a drink as well.

There was some sort of hope between all of the boys that you and Luke would get back together. The time you were both a couple you and Luke were probably in the best places of your lives and the fans seemed to love the relationship as well.

Things the rest of the night were quiet, mostly just small talk between the boys as they wrote some songs, and of course your input on what they wrote. Calum always went to you for help on the new songs to get an outside opinion and he knew you would be honest about what they wrote.

Soon enough everybody said their goodbyes and headed home for the night. Before Calum left he gave you a hug with a whisper of “give him a chance” referring to Luke. You knew he was probably right so you just nodded.

After going to bed for the night you soon awoke the next morning to a few text messages from Luke asking if he could come over. You knew it was odd because Luke never wanted to come over to your place since the breakup.

Not knowing what to say, you just agreed hoping he maybe just left something and needed to pick it up. After opening some windows and getting ready for the day you soon heard a knock on the door, making you walk downstairs and open the door to see Luke.

Not knowing what to say you just stood out of the way silently as he let himself in your house. “I know you may hate me and all but we need to talk” He mentions making you sigh. That’s the last thing you wanted to do in this moment was talk to him about things.

After shutting your door you followed him to the couch where you both sat down. You waited for him to talk as you didn’t know what to say. “Why are you so mad at me?” Luke questioned making you gulp. You wanted to answer the question but weren’t ready to confront him about everything.

“Luke you know how bad you hurt me.. I trusted you that night and you still practically cheated on me” You said quietly but just loud enough so he could hear you.

“I know.. but I didn’t mean it” He says and takes a deep breath before continuing to speak. “But I miss you... I can’t just move on, yes you may be mad at me and we may fight but I... I still have feelings for you” Luke stuttered.

“You do?..” you questioned. It never seemed like he had feelings for you especially because most of the times you both would talk it was short and angry conversations.

You see Luke nod and look down. “I-I didn’t know that..” You speak, but it all made sense now why Luke tried to stay away from you. He had missed you so bad it hurt to see you.

“So what does that mean?..” you question still looking down, knowing you weren’t ready to actually look at him. You probably would cry then and there if you looked at his face.

“I wanna.. I wanna try again” He speaks nervously. Luke didn’t know what kind of reaction he would get from that. Little did he know you missed him too. You wanted to forgive him, but it would take time.

‘Okay” you speak quietly.

“Okay?” Luke says looking up at you shocked.

“Okay we can try.. it’s gonna take time though” You say messing around with the bottom of your shirt nervously.

Luke didn’t care how long it took for you to come back, He didn’t care what he had to do or how long it took, he just wanted his Angel back.

Authors note: I took kinda a break from writing due to a lot of school but im back and finally have a few weeks of a break to get back to writing! Also, the week of Christmas i’ve decided to try and do a week of Christmas themed 5sos imagines as a special series!

You definitely could tell something was wrong with Luke when you had woke up in bed next to him, seeing him with extra blankets and a sweater on.

You knew when you had fallen asleep he wasn’t wearing a sweater and didn’t have the extra blankets. Luke usually was never cold enough to wear a sweater to bed or use extra blankets.

After giving a small stretch, you pulled yourself out of Luke’s arms, hearing a muffled whine from him. “What’s up bub?” You say, looking down at Luke from your now seated position.

“C’mere pleasee” Luke whined, with a small sneeze in the middle. You gave him a small frown knowing what was wrong.

You snuggle back up to Luke holding him tight. “You feelin’ okay?” You say, Knowing if he wasn’t okay you’d do anything to help.

“M’ so cold” Luke mumbles, pushing his head into your neck to stay warm. Luke rarely was this sick , making you feel terrible.

“You feel hot” you mention while pressing your hand against his forehead, already telling he has a fever. “Im gonna check your temperature mkay?” You ask and feel Luke give a small nod before practically falling asleep again.

After confirming that he has a fever you pull him close. “Wanna take a bath lu?” You suggest knowing if it was cold it may just help his fever. Of course along with some kind of medicine to help bring it down.

“Cant, gotta go to the studio” Luke said sleepy, sitting up but barely being able to stay awake.

“Luke you can’t, you’re sick” you mention, handing him a glass of water and an Advil to help with the fever.

“M’ fine” Luke mumbles, getting up and starting to get dressed. You sigh knowing Luke would refuse to stay home.

Once Luke gets ready he starts to walk to the door but you notice him stumbling. “Lu” You speak as you notice him holding onto random objects to keep stable.

He looks towards you and you can tell he definitely isn’t feeling too well so you stand up, pulling him back to bed. “I’m calling the boys .. you can’t go in like this today” You mention and he gives a nod of defeat.

Within seconds you feel Luke fall asleep in your arms so you call Ashton to let him know Luke cant make it in today. Luckily they were able to switch days and give the boys a day off today so Luke could get better.

You knew sadly you would have to wake up the sleepy Luke to get him to change into more comfortable clothes for the day, and to get him completely comfortable before you ran to the store for some things.

“Hey Luke?” You say quietly, shaking him awake. Once you feel him start to wake up you help him up. “You gotta change clothes” you mention, pointing to his outfit.

In return you get a small nod as he changes into more comfy clothes. He then laid back down soon again falling asleep.

After heading to the store, and grabbing a few things for Luke you soon returned to see him awake in bed. “Hey Lu, how ya feelin?” You ask smiling seeing he looks much better.

“Better” He says, blowing his nose. “What did you get?” Luke says curiously, seeing the many bags in your hands.

“Just some stuff for you” you smile as you move to the kitchen to put the groceries away, as Luke quietly follows. “You hungry yet?” You continue to ask.

You see him give you a small nod making you smile. “Soup?” You mention knowing it would probably help him feel better.

“Yes please” Luke says, smiling at you in awe from you being so sweet to him. You always were the best at helping him when he was sick and he could never be more appreciative of having you there to help.

After sitting down at the barstool Luke watches you start to make him dinner. After turning on a playlist of music on your phone you continue his food , humming the words of your favorite songs as Luke stares in awe.

You never usually sang around him so he never got a good sound of your singing voice, but he was amazed at how good you were.

He knew definitely after this day he would figure something out for you now knowing you were this good at it. “You sound amazing” Luke smiles, making you turn around with a soft blush.

“I didn’t know you could hear me” You giggled not knowing what his reaction to your singing would be.

“I did, you’re really good bub” Luke says admiring your beauty. Luke was so in love with you, more than you would ever know.

“Thank you” you blush, as you finish up his soup , pouring it into a bowl. After handing the bowl of soup to Luke, you notice it seems to be starting to get dark so you flip on a few lights.

After finishing his lunch, Luke gets up to walk back to your guys shared bedroom, of course with your help. “Wanna take a bath?” You ask, and seeing Luke nod.

You knew one of his most favorite things when he was sick was to take a bath and relax while you washed his hair, so you both did just that.

Before you knew it both of you were in the bath, with Luke rested against your body while you slowly scrub his hair with the shampoo. “How are you feeling now?” You ask, noticing his eyes slowly shutting.

“Way better, thanks to your help” Luke smiles with a deep shade of pink covering his cheeks. You nod with a smile while continuing to rinse his hair.

After repeating this process with the conditioner you shake Luke noticing him slowly drifting to sleep. “Gotta get dressed then you can sleep okay?” You smile helping him out of the bath.

“M’kay” He says softly while you help him get dressed, to soon both slip into bed under the warm blanket.
