what kind of career jobs remind me of each zodiac sign?
— disclaimers: this is purely based on my opinions and what I think would be best suited for each zodiac sign in terms of a career job. not everyone has the same outlook when it comes to basing it on astrology, so that also applies to everyone having different opinions. it’s best that you take this post with a pinch of salt and just enjoy reading it. before you go on to reading the rest, you should check for your sun + moon + mars + midheaven (mc) + 2nd house + 6th house + 10th house.
aries ∣ athlete (or rescue worker)
➢ aries love anything that keeps them physically active. they’re best suited for fieldwork and action-oriented jobs - such as an athlete or a rescue worker.
➢ with such a competitive spirit, they would become more determined to work extra hard as an athlete to being the best and to most importantly, win.
➢ combined with their bravery, they aren’t afraid to encounter any endangerment in order to rescue someone. their high energy levels allow them to always be on alert and their assertiveness help them to act quickly.
taurus | singer (or lawyer)
➢ taurus being ruled by the throat isn’t much of a surprise, as there are so many taurean singers with such impressive vocals and a very powerful voice.
➢ they have the ability to be deeply in touch with their senses - making them able to really feel the emotion and smoothly connect with the song.
➢ as a fixed sign that is symbolised as a bull, they’re certainly stubborn. this comes into play to being a lawyer, as they’re bound to not give up until they’ve given it their all. they’re a born fighter and would make a dependable defence attorney.
gemini | teacher (or project manager)
➢ gemini’s are complex minded and communication is of key importance to them, making it a perfect position as a teacher/professor.
➢ they set a playful and humorous environment in a classroom, but still manage to remain professional at the same time.
➢ being that they’re the sign that is ruled by mercury (the planet that governs communication), they would also make a great project manager. going from team to team and negotiating between colleagues ensures that they wont get bored with the job.
cancer | therapist (or chef/baker)
➢ cancer, the mother of the zodiac and the one to be called the epitome of comfort. nurturing is what they do best and that’s what makes them suitable as a therapist.
➢ they naturally obtain the ability to genuinely sympathise when listening to any worries or concerns that’s weighing someone down and really put themselves in the person’s shoes. they understand how deep our emotions can bring ourselves because they’re the sign ruled by the emotional moon.
➢ speaking of comfort, they often feel at ease when they allow themselves to focus on one thing that relaxes them. cooking or baking is the perfect example, considering they also find it as a sense of nurture.
leo | actor/performer (or reality tv star)
➢ leo’s natural-born virtue is being able to pursue very well in drama, theatre and acting. not only are they pleased from huge crowds, what really sets them in high spirits is to entertain.
➢ considering that they’re the sign that is ruled upon creativity and self expression (5th house and the sun), they work best when they're free to express themselves and be admired for their artistry skills.
➢ their dominant, headstrong, and fiery personality definitely boosts their ego and gives them the courage they need to speak their mind - the qualities that would be suitable for a reality tv star.
virgo | detective (or writer)
➢ virgo’s are known for their analytical and logical minds, in on with their detail-oriented perspective. these kind of aspects would undeniably make for a dedicated and hardworking detective.
➢ they have the skill to pick up on subtleties that would be lost on so many others. they connect evidence, facts, and circumstances as flawlessly as someone pieces together a complex puzzle.
➢ since they’re ruled by the planet of communication aside from gemini, any type of writing would be a fitting creative outlet for them. they’re very attentive with the details and the true message they want to deliver through their words. even as a creative outlet, it can also help them release their thoughts and clear their mind - as they tend to overthink a lot.
libra | dancer (or judge)
➢ libra’s are gifted to have an accurate eye for art and beauty. this quality also gives them such a graceful aura - even specifically through their body movement.
➢ their bodies are able to convey the emotions and stories the music is giving, which results in such a beautiful art through their dance. natural rhythm and timing is important as a dancer and that’s the kind of skill they have.
➢ seeing as their zodiac symbol are the scales and they’re a sign ruled by air, they’re highly intelligent and capable of taking an objective look at two opposing sides. they thrive for justice and fight for what is fair. all this along with their alluring charm, they would definitely work well as a judge.
scorpio | poet (or detective)
➢ scorpio’s are more passionate to express their deepest emotions through creative writing, and this would surely make for an intensive and sentimental poet.
➢ adapting the skill to form one’s feelings into words can really accomplish wonders as they will be able to become more emotionally expressive. they become heavily driven once they allow their intense emotions form into apart of their artistry.
➢ considering that they’re naturally curious individuals who love to discover secrets, having a career as a detective would be ideal. the mysterious and sly traits they portray make for someone who is great at working undercover and quietly observing people and their activities. their attention to detail and drive to succeed leads them to piece together events and solve crime cases with skill.
sagittarius | travel photographer (or journalist)
➢ sagittarius is the most free-spirited zodiac out of all; always needing to have their own freedom and to not be tied down. for this trait of theirs, a travel photographer would be a perfect fit.
➢ they’re naturally drawn to the “big picture” and often find themselves expressing their creativity through something artistic - such as photography. adding on to their free spirit, they have a passion for travelling to new places, experiencing new things and learning about unfamiliar cultures.
➢ these individuals aren’t too keen on routine and they would much prefer to work independently - two features that also apply to both of these career jobs. the opportunity that holds for a journalist would allow for them to develop their expressive sense and do their work while constantly moving outdoors.
capricorn | ceo (or creative director)
➢ capricorn individuals are highly ambitious and crave power to be on the top of a corporation. they’re known for their leadership abilities, and that’s definitely a fitting element for someone as a ceo.
➢ they dedicate most of their time with office work and money making activities. they’re capable of efficiently and responsibly handling extremely challenging situations due to their strong will and determination.
➢ a trait that I don’t see being acknowledged much about is their high level of creativity and artistry. they often have a strong interest in painting (or just admiring art pieces), photography, and/or playing an instrument. not only do they have a unique eye for art and designs, they’re also incredibly good at planning and delivering a strategic vision - the role of a creative director.
aquarius | electrician (or environmental engineer)
➢ aquarius is an air sign ruled by the planet of technology and innovation - making them naturally curious with electronics, and most likely having a strong passion towards innovating technology.
➢ their logical mind helps them with problem solving, therefore developing the ability to provide solutions for electrical errors. they enjoy playing with electrical components to get to the heart of the issue and devise a plan to correct it.
➢ as well as their love for technology, they’re undoubtedly true humanitarians at heart and have a deep caring for the environment. even so, they could utilise their technical innovative skills and make plans for the future to help protect the environment in unique ways.
pisces | artist (or songwriter)
➢ pisces have a very artistic side to them and they let that be known by being in-tune with their gentle and intuitive spirit - this gives them a special ability for creativity in all areas of their life.
➢ they can easily take their instinctual insights of the world along with their introspective attitude and translate them into artworks. this allows them to create masterpieces that deeply resonate with the people around them.
➢ the fact that they’re the sign ruled by neptune, they also have a unique connection to music. they have a strong desire to escape reality, in which their creativity allows to make a safe haven for themselves and write song lyrics.
it was difficult to pick only one career job for each zodiac sign, so I decided to pick two that seemed suitable for each of them. also, something that I found interesting was that I unknowingly picked similar career jobs for virgo and scorpio. after realising, it does make sense because both of these signs are very similar in the sense of having a strong drive to uncover a mystery, being attentive to details, and being able to quietly observe people and their actions. this is a bit tmi, but it’s funny how I created this post when most my planets are currently in 10th, 6th, and 2nd house transit. anyways, thank you for reading my post.
