6x15: I am coming home to you.

he was so relieved that she is alive.

This was going to be a whole thing but the creative energy is lacking lately. (I find a bit of writing helps get through these dry spells. But, I also cannot push it too hard or it becomes a bit...disappointing.) So, anyway, here is where we landed and so yeah anyway... enjoy, loves.

Soft rays of early morning sunlight filtered through the windows setting the room aglow with gentle light. As the golden light caressed the sleep-relaxed features of his bride, Killian smiled to himself as contentment spread through him- an almost physical warmth radiating from his heart. 

The brilliant green eyes he’d spent a desperate year without met his and crinkled as she smiled back at him. 

“Good morning, love,” he said, placing a chaste kiss on her forehead. 

She squinted at him with playful suspicion, “were you watching me sleep?”

“Aye,” he answered, “you are fascinating to observe.”

“Oh?” 

“Did you know that you twitch in your sleep?” Killian pulled her hand into his, tracing her fingers lightly with his, “your fingers shift ever so slightly, your nose,” he leaned in to place another sweet kiss on her nose, “wiggles a bit, and when you are particularly lost to world of dreams, you sometimes mutter my name.”

He cocked his eyebrow at her, “what is it you dream about, love?”
