It's been unused since 2011. One snippet: This beautiful building at 1283 Riverbed first served as the home of Fireboat Engine Co. 15 from 1921 to 1934. One of Safety Director Eliot Ness's many reforms was to revitalize the police training system. The new Police Academy ran out of this building from 1937 until 1954.

Frost Village historic district. This house is on a street that was inundated by a flood about 100 years ago. A local lady told me that all the homes along the Sandusky River were moved back one block. She may have been pulling my leg.
