what i like about her is that she blooms whether you water her or not. whether you give her light or not. she exists without your existence.

In life, I have learned that there are different kinds of touch. Touch which makes you feel aware; subtle, close, the kind you don’t want to end, and feel desolate when it is gone. Touch which is rigid, ruthless, and wounds you. Is it inflicted because of alcohol or hatred? I do not know. And last, touch which lives in the soul and is less encountered than the other two, but surely is more desired.

You sometimes think you want to disappear, but all you really want is to be found.

She was not good on the phone. She needed the face, the pattern of eyes, nose, trembling mouth… People talking were meant to look at a face…With a phone, you said words, but you never watched them go in.
